Associated Dinosaur Press - 70,000,000 B.C.. The High Council today announced plans to pump billions of kargs of methane and fecal matter into underground caverns in an attempt to prevent further warming of the earth. This material is expected to turn into harmless, useless hydrocarbon sludge over the course of millions of years and be of no further trouble to our planet.

In other news, astronomers at the T. Rex institute have spotted a new asteroid. It is not yet clear what path it is on, but it should pose no threat for at least 5 million years.

to feed the insatiable appetite for the ALBORE FLYING MACHINE...I need jet fuel...I said, I need more jet fuel...get the common folk to pony up more jet fuel or off with their heads.

There I fixed it.

“Australia is one of only a handful of places that uses the technology, known as geosequestration, and environmentalists immediately criticized the project as a token gesture that distracts from the bigger goal of getting industry to slash emissions.”

Environmentalists: “What? A viable option that may take away from our goal of killing capitalism? We can’t have that!”

“...would capture and compress 110,231 tons of carbon dioxide from industry emissions...”

Just how do they separate the Industry emissions from other emissions, say, people exhaling??

If a worker exhales on the job, does that count as an “industrial emission” as well??

And of course it is no surprize that the Enviomental Wackos would denounce anything that might give them less reason to bitch...

Moving on...

If the article was dated April 1, I might have thought it was a hoax. This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard of this week. Plants ‘breath’ carbon-dioxide and ‘exhale’ oxygen. Let nature take care of it. What maroons.
