Would you believe him? Anything short of him working to make the Schuler/Sessions bill happen is not enough.

The sad thing about the Shuler/Sessions bill is that it is a fraud intended to get Shuler reelected in Western Carolina. He ran here as a "conservative" with "mountain values." He even had the gall to blame McCain for stopping his SAVE bill from winning the Discharge Petition.

He admitted in a candid remark at a Christmas party in Macon County, my home, that "Nancy would never let it get out of committee." She also has prevented 39 of the 48 Democrats who co-sponsored it, from signing the Discharge.

Heath Shuler caused the defeat of his own bill, by voting in Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. That's one of the reasons I'm running against Shuler; to hang Pelosi around his neck like a dead albatross so the conservative Republicans AND Democrats in Western Carolina will kick Heath Shuler to the curb.

It is pathetic that all sorts of people in Congress and out have gotten their knickers in a twist over what started out as a ploy to get one inadequate Democrat reelected in Buncombe County, NC. BTW, the word "bunk" originated from a speech given by another inadequate Congressman from this District, nearly a century ago.
