With Obam in office, the Republicans will realize that Conservatives do count. They will move back toward sound policy. Obama will not win and when McCain wins without conservative support it will prove conservative support is not needed if the GOP moves left. McCain will owe the conservatives nothing when elected. With coices like Tancredo, Hunter, Keyes, Thompson, Huckabee, and Romney the GOP picked McCain. It wasn't for lack of a solid conservative running...it was because conservatism doesn't sell.

You won't even be able to develop a base from which to push Conservatism in 2012, because the Republican party will be trying to kill any such uprising. If McCain is elected, there will be no effort to rebuild, to develop our brand, to out the truth of Conservatism vs what is being ushered in. McCain is the perfect Third-Way candidate. He will do ten times the damage to this nation that Bill Clinton, Hillary or Obama could. He will do it because there will be no oppostion. Having gone the Third-Way route, the Republicans and the Democrats will be able to support just about anything he wants to do. BUMPed for The Truth!!!

I do not propose a third party this year. I do propose one to be started from the gound up within the next six months, to be up and running in four years at the local and state levels, and to be national in eight years.
The Republican party’s days are over IMO.

It was because nobody had the deep pockets McCain did. Those other candidates were out of money before the first few months were up. And let’s not forget the rules that many suspect allowed the left to vote for John in the first primaries. I don’t think Republicans were as responsible for John being elected as I do Democrats.

Then all the Team Juan shills and apologists hereabouts can immediately cease and desist their tiresome, threadbare attempts at frightening and hectoring votes out of decent, principled conservatives on behalf of their anointed RINO du jour, as of this very posting... yes?
*whew!* Thank goodness that rot's finally all over and done with, then.

McCain was out of money and considered out of the race before Romney, Thompson, or Huckabee. Why do you suppose solid conservatives like Tancredo, Hunter, or Keyes can’t raise money? The answer is lack of conservative support.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt in regards to your maturity. How about trying to debate the points of the argument instead of calling me a McCain shill? no? then we have nothing further to discuss.

“A Lesser Evil Is Still Evil
Perfection is the enemy of the good.”
What? Who said anything about perfection? My tagline clearly says EVIL.
Besides, your “Perfection is the enemy of the good” is bs. God wants us to try to be as perfect as we can be, as humans, we simply cannot attain it. I dont think attaining it is actually the point, but the act of trying is.
If you’d like to be a “moderate” and take the shiny well lit path, go right ahead.

Pretty good analogy. Most Republicans are like “moderate” Muslims. They don’t talk out loud in support of the liberal jihad but they never speak in opposition to it either and given the chance they will vote for socialism.

We were talking about Tank, Hunter, and Keyes. McCain's money dwarfs the 3 combined.

” Is sin evil in your mind?”
Of course. The price of sin is death, which is why we all die. But when did I ever say we dont ALL sin? I didn’t.
