Bushed: A resident of San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood whose regular exercise regimen includes walking the Lyon Street steps was startled the other night when a man popped out of the bushes right in front of the home owned by Sen. Dianne Feinstein and megabucks husband Richard Blum.
It was a security guard who was keeping watch over the senator's home, which is also monitored by some eyes in the sky - cameras atop the house's roof.
The guard promptly apologized, telling our walker, "I have to go off camera and go to the bathroom in the bushes."
"That makes sense," the neighbor replied. "But don't they provide a proper bathroom or breaks for you? Or let you go in the house?"
"No," the guard answered.
Feinstein's chief of staff in California, Jim Molinari, confirmed that the senator has a security crew keeping an eye on the house. But he said the guard company has instructed its employees to use the public toilets down the hill on Lombard Street.
"That's part of the reason they are only assigned to four-hour shifts - to avoid this kind of situation," Molinari said.
The guards have proved to be useful, by the way - lately, they've kept busy chasing away people stealing flowers from the adjoining public garden.

He should’ve taken a leak on the front steps, in full camera view, just to show what the peasants really think of Queen Dianne her fellow hypocritical limousine socialists.
yup gate gaurded mansions and limousine liberals, they have no idea what the rest of us have to suffer with illegals and their old country cutoms...
Who your neighbors are means more to me than the size of my house.
About the same location north to south, but quite a bit west of Lombard hill, in the Pacific Heights district. Lovely area of classic old mansions, most with views of the bay and the Golden Gate bridge.
I am deeply saddened with Mizz Feinsteins incongruous behavior. Oh so deeply saddened.

If she lived by me I would send flamming bags of doo at her door.
I wonder how long the security guard would have his job if he took an hour out of his 4 hour shift to hike up the hill to go to the public bathroom and then hike back?
Let them eat urinal cakes?
The headline implies the security guard might have lost his job over this, but there is nothing to that effect in the story.
Yes. MsF has hurt so many........

I wonder if their study included security guards working at the mansion of a U.S. democRatic Senator?
