Raila Odinga is indeed Obama’s first cousin. Raila Odinga is the son of Barack Hussein Obama Senior’s sister, Auma. That makes Raila a direct first cousin of Obama and nephew of Obama’s father.

These are the unsavory characters Obama is supporting right now in Kenya, and this should give you a taste of what his foreign policy will look like, should he get elected. I have never beheld a scarier candidate in my lifetime. And looking back, I'm not sure a scarier candidate (read Manchurian Candidate) has ever run for the highest office in our land. Who was peddling that nonsense to you. Raila Odinga was born in 1945 and Auma Obama is a few years older than Barack Obama. So it is physically impossible for Raila to be born of Auma.

Auma lives in Reading, England and was married to a British man. (Raila doesn’t look like the son of a British man!). She had a 9 year old daughter in 2006.

Let’s leave blood relationships out of the discussion. I hope I don’t have to answer for the sins of all my ancestors.

This is not about his blood relationship but rather about his support for the radical leader.

Blood relationships can also be scrutinised fairly in the case of favoritism, nepotism, corruption etc. For example Hillary's brother shopping for pardons from Bill. Not that I would advocate for a stiffer punishmnet because he was a relative, but I would look twice the next time anyone of her relatives got anywhere near the power levers.
