hmm. Insurance pool must have sent out a fax.
Too much beer, cheese, and bratwurst.
At the high cost of living that exists in Wisconsin, most people there are working long hours just to pay their Wis income taxes, the property taxes- which Gov tried to raise 8% recently, and all the other costs of “living” there.
Born and raised there. Couldn’t move back there is I wanted to...
First, Doyle ripped off the idea from President Bush (see http://www.presidentschallenge.org) This isn’t nanny statism, that would be the health care proposal. There’s no force involved in this.
Trek is involved in this? No more Treks (and Lemonds, since I have a Lemond cyclocross bike), unless it’s a warranty replacement. Any new hardware will be Bianchi.
A prelude to a food police force perhaps?
I ride 30 minutes per day indoors when it’s below 50 degrees outside, and I ride about 1.5 hours per day (Brown Deer to Cedarburg and back - 20 miles) when it’s above 50, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to let Doyle claim any credit or glory for my efforts.
Perhaps Gov. Doyle could begin by reducing his fat-headed, socialist thinking, especially as regards personal defense with concealed firearms.
So, we're below the median in weight, but Doyle's still worried about it.
On the other hand, when we compare combined state and local tax burdens, we're number 7, but Doyle is not inclined to do anything about that, except try to make us number 1.
So apparently I have to get fat now just to spite Doyle.
