I hope this finds you all well and happy.
How is Spring arriving in your neck of the woods?
Here, hard by the Potomac, we are seeing the first green buds on the trees. The critters are making nice with each other. I saw a Robin this morning in the lower field and the sun seems a bit closer.
You may remember that I told you about Girl Cat. She wandered up to our door, hurt and lonely. She is now healed, gaining weight and is happy inside the house. We thought she would run at the first open door, but she seems to want to stay near hearth and home.
The barn cat boys seem to accept her, no one understands why, but there you are. Although she has not gone into heat, the boys may have a clue that we do not!
Anyway, hope all is fine with you and once again, thank you all for all you do.
Regards,
AR (USAF-Former)
Cats are really smart!!
We have 3 and they rule the house!
The old saying, "Dogs have masters and cats have staff" holds true here!!
The temps here are in the mid to high 80’s.
The pair of ducks are back like clockwork every March & messing up the pool as well you can imagine. *sigh*
The birds are very vocal as of late. The male grackles are showing off by strutting about & puffing up.
I've even seen quail about the last two days.
Sounds like girl cat has adopted you for sure!:)
As always dear....thank you for your service! *Hugs*
Spring seems to have come and decided to stay. I'm ready.
Thanks, AR, for your service to our country.
