As Acevedo-Vila probe progressed, Menendez used a controversial and secretive parliamentary maneuver to try to block the nomination of the US attorney whose office Wednesday indicted Acevedo-Vila.

Hmmmm....and what exactly was Alberto Gonzales raked over the coals for, and forced to resign? Firing U.S. attorneys? Blocking their nomination for political reasons is just as bad. Menendez: Resign NOW!
