This time, the "CBS Evening News" traveled all the way across the pond to pushing the alarmists' global warming agenda.
The March 27 "Evening News" went to the coastlines of England to show melting ice caps causing people to lose their homes.
"Much of the effects of climate change have been couched in terms of if or when its effects will be felt," CBS correspondent Mark Phillips said. "Well, here there is no if.' And when is now. So choices are being made. It's called managed retreat. Some areas of coastline deemed indefensible are being abandoned. Climate change is producing winners and losers, and Diana Wrightson and the others here have already lost."

Period.
How can the sea be rising if the ice shelves are actually increasing? Or is the additional ice displacing more water?
I heard Antarctica was growing. If it is growing, then how can sea level rise be attributed to global warming?
The interior of the Greenland ice cap is growing as well and has been calculated to have reduced the sea level.
Antarctica and parts of the Arctic are increasing in ice content. THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING! NASA and NOAA both admit their previous methods of measuring temperatures were flawed.
Were they flawed on the upside, downside or just flawed? And the references for your claim are to be found where???
Perhaps you should start looking into some scientific journals.
Why did they have to travel to the coastlines of England? The phenomenon should occur everywhere all at once because there IS ONLY ONE OCEAN worldwide.
Hey, I'm not doubting the statement. I hope it's true. Just trying to save myself some Google-Time. And it was a pretty strong statement you must admit.
So, if you can point me in the right direction then I'll gladly have a look at any reference.
We know that since it is in a scientific journal, it has to be right, right?
I am restating what has been publicly issued. You might find their information on their websites.
The NOAA information was in regards to incorrect prediction of hurricane activity. Not global warming.
Coastlines have been being eroded and seaside settlements in England have been lost to the ocean throughout and even before recorded history.
