I’ve got a better idea. Limit ALL election campaigns to 60 days prior to the date of the election. Any politician caught campaigning prior to that would be charged with a felony and sentenced to 25 years in solitary confinement with a big screen TV playing only Algore and Kerry speeches 24/7.
