PRINCETON, NJ -- A sizable proportion of Democrats would vote for John McCain next November if he is matched against the candidate they do not support for the Democratic nomination. This is particularly true for Hillary Clinton supporters, more than a quarter of whom currently say they would vote for McCain if Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee.

It gets worse and worse for Obama. It is starting to appear that putting money on McCain seems a good investment on Intrade, where currently he is given only 40%. That means a $1 investment would return $2.50 if McCain won.

Obama is to the left of Ted Kennedy and has surrounded himself with lunatic racists and anti-Semites. There’s no way he should ever be elected.

I've noticed that Rasmussen already has McCain ahead of both Hillary and Obama in general election polls.
This has got to be major cause for concern for the Democrat party, because at this point the Democrat is almost ALWAYS leading the Republican in the general polls.

No matter . Without Hillary the turn out will be dismal . Thats best for us , we need the house , no more kings. All of these candidates are weak , none will have a mandate . Whats the choice , a fossil who has an open border fetish or a surrender guy . Some choice.

“Obama is doomed.”
I’ve known this for quite a while.
It’s amazing that the Dims can’t or won’t figure this out.
They’re going to lose 3 general elections in a row. They deserve it.
Bore, Carry, Obomba. What a bunch of doofuses.
They just don’t get it. Big happy grin on my face.

Yeah, it’s still March ~ don’t the Pollsters usually always have the Democrat ahead of the Republican by 10% or more.

well it worked for Reagan, Bush Sr, Nixon and W. Bush.
These are more the Reagan Democrats or Silent Majority type of Dems not the complete lunatics (at least that is what i am surmising since Bama and Hill are two sides of the same coin.

Excellent, which proves the point that Obama is the weaker democrat candidate in the general elections and hence it is best that he is the nominee.

So that's the new lie is it? I hate to tell you this little lady but the Clinton democrats ARE NOT the Reagan democrats.

This news brought to you courtesy of the Clinton campaign?
To: Jaycal33
Rush Zibo to the rescue of the democrats by working very hard to take the weaker candidate out Obama and have a stronger candidate Hillary Clinton to face McCain in the general elections.

This is the same problem the Republicans have, or had. Remember how many said that if McCain got the nomination they would vote for Hillary instead? I believe Ann Coulter is one of them now that I think back a few weeks. Of course today you don't hear much from that crowd and I highly suspect the same thing will happen in the Democratic camp over time.
It's the childish
if I can't have it my way, I'll take my ball and go home syndrome. They are ranting their displeasure in the hopes that momma will kiss it and make it feel good, but in the long run they'll come around.
I personally expect a hard fought battle this November and we will be lucky (I think) to hold onto the executive branch.

Where are all the blubbering whiners who swore that the GOP would lose in a landslide and they would be laughing? Where are you all? All I hear are crickets chirping...

Yes, but what percentage of GOP voters are NOT voting for McCain?

That's a very good point. Historical facts are not things to be scoffed at.

A Democrat IS leading in the polls.
That “R” after McQueeg’s name doesn’t mean much...

Not sure, but if I see some guy driving a truck with an NRA sticker but wearig a tin foil hat I’ll let you know.

This is what the dems say now, but it won’t come to pass. It’s much like conservatives that swear they won’t vote for McCain, but will hold their nose and vote for him anyway.
