Hillary Clinton has conceded that she "did misspeak" about landing in Bosnia under sniper fire, blaming tiredness for a dramatic description that was shown to have been significantly exaggerated. The Democratic candidate is engaged in a frantic damage-limitation exercise amid widespread derision of her comments about a visit to Tuzla in 1996. Watch: Hillary Clinton 'misspeaking'
"I remember landing under sniper fire," she said in Washington on Monday. "There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."
News footage of the event however showed her claims to have been wide of the mark, and reporters who accompanied her stated that there was no sniper fire. Her account was ridiculed by ABC News as "like a scene from Saving Private Ryan".
After initially dismissing the controversy over her comments as a "minor blip", she told a Pittsburgh radio station: "You know I have written about this and described it in many different settings and I did misspeak the other day. This has been a very long campaign. Occasionally, I am a human being like everybody else."
She insisted it was the "first time in 12 years" she had spoken inaccurately about the trip.
On the trip, the then First Lady and her daughter Chelsea, then 16, emerged smiling from a C-17 transport plane to be met by Emina Bicakcic, eight, who told them: "There is peace now because Mr Clinton signed it. All this peace. I love it."

One time I was flying back from Hong Kong to Boston from a business trip. I was exhausted.
Then a terrorist gang of at least 200 people tried to take over the plane. I fought them all using my on board copy of the American Airlines In Flight magazine. Thank god, I had just watched Chuck Norris in “Delta Force 2- The Columbian Connection”. I was able to single handidly destroy AlQueda in America.
Whats that you say, upi were on the plane also and we actually just landed normally and they didn’t show “Delta Force 2”? Oh, I guess I just misspoke.

Hillary was conditioned by years of the press ignoring Bill's lies. He could say anything he wanted and the press would excuse it or let it slide.
What Hillary failed to realize was that Barack was the new magic person that would be protected, not her.
I heard the audio where she corrected her “mistake.” She did that phony laugh at the end.
Whenever she does her laugh track, a lie or a question on one of her dozens of scandals preceded it. She uses the disingenous laugh to make it seem like the question is ridiculous.
What a horrorible human being.

• She opposed NAFTA at the time.
• She was instrumental in the Irish peace process.
• She urged Bill to intervene in Rwanda.
• She played a role in the ‘90s economic recovery.
• The billing records showed up on their own.
• She thought Bill was innocent when the Monica scandal broke.
• She was always a Yankees fan.
• She had nothing to do with the New Square Hasidic pardons (after they voted for her 1,400-12 and she attended a meeting at the White House about the pardons).
• She negotiated for the release of refugees in Macedonia (who were released the day before she got there).
