Let's go down memory lane a bit here.
When Mondale ran against President Ronald Wilson Reagan, he lost 49 states, the largest political fanny whipping in American history.
When he got into the Senate race for Wellstone's seat he lost...again by a significant margin.
This clown has been completely rejected by all 50 states and people ask his opinion on anything?

As the record holder for taking the biggest ash kicking in American history, mondull should know a thing or two about losing, and he does.

"So however this is done, it has to be done in a way that the public feels it is their decision. How we do that, I don't know," said Mondale. When there was still honor in politics, the loser (Hillary) would have stepped down for the good of the party. That's how it should be done.

What other ticket than Gore-Kerry could ever win?
Are you kidding? If the Dems want the most experienced man who knows the responsibilities of the job like no other Democrat alive, and a VP with the most experience at the job, there is only one possible ticket:
CARTER/GORE '08
TWO Nobel Peace Prize Winners, 100 years of public service between them, and Carter will probably be using the john at 3:00am, so he will be ready to answer the phone!

Not only did Mondale lose the other 49 states in 1984, but he managed to carry his home state by less than 4,000 votes.
Maybe Obama can reach out to the Clinton supporters by selecting Mondale's daughter as his running mate. I seem to recall that she had a friendly relationship with Bill Clinton while he was President.

"The Democratic Party is in a real pickle. One of the worst moments in Democratic Party history was in 1968. You had riots and the convention didn't have a whole lot of legitimacy. The question in 2008 is, are we going to be back in 1968 and with that sort of meltdown?"
A meltdown seems quite probable given Democrat nostalgia to
"Re-create '68".

I like it. And given that Jimmy Carter went down to the biggest defeat of a sitting President in history, he is eligible for a second term.
With two Noble Peace laureates in the White House, peace would spontaneously break out all over the place. Global warming would be eradicated and love would steer the stars—this would be the dawning of the age of Aquarius, Aquarius.

Don’t think for a moment that the clinton’s won’t have something to say about that.
The Clinton’s are going scorched earth. It’s either Billary or nobody. If it’s nobody then it will be McCain in November. That makes it a d’RAT open field in 2012. Billary will be 64 then and still young enough to run again.
But, she’ll have to go all in on that contest, because she will be running for re-election to her senate seat in 2012 and will be an easy target.

Ordinarily not a bad idea; at least she is a looker. Problem is, poor thing, she is fighting a brain tumor.
An interesting exercie might be to see how many peoples live went into the dumper after being associated with the Clintons. I'm not talking Arkancide, just having everything in your life unravel. Bet there is a lot.

I hadn't heard about the brain tumor. That's too bad. Maybe she should read Arlen Specter's new book (Never Give Up or something like that--how he dealt with two or three cases where it appeared he didn't have long to live).

Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong Il, Ahmedinejab, and Robert Mugabe are all no doubt on the short list to win the Nobel Prize in the near future...so Obama can invite all the Nobel laureates to Camp David and solve all the world’s problem through dialogue.
To: Dr. Sivana
Um, RIGHT.
Gee. I never thought of that.
Huh.
Whatever (see below):
Dunno, was thinking more along the lines of this guy:
...should work.
They'll GO for it without any doubt if they can be "convinced" they voted "incorrectly" and that ONLY the party KNOWS the "correct" vote. Well then. Without doubt Carl Rove IS a bastard.
