If in my business I believe that every employee represents the character and image of my company, do I have to disparage my company image by hiring the unkept, disheveled unwashed masses? I think it would be much better to consider a business as private property of the owners and their hiring choices as a private matter. If the market responds negatively they will adjust or vanish.
