“Obama wouldn’t make just a good Commander in Chief. He would make a great Commander in Chief,” McPeak said. “He would rank in the upper 10 percentile of Commanders in Chief we’ve seen in office.

Maybe it's just me but I don't see a smoking gun here. There's a lot of innuendo and "let me translate that for you" into something more damning... but his actual words aren't that strong in condemnation of Israel. I agree you can infer a lot from his words... but that's not going to play out easily with the public.

By the way, I served in the USAF under this piece of excrement... don't think in any way that I will ever defend him or his views.

"I don't think increasing the troops helps us get our foot out of the trap--it just puts 20,000 more targets on the ground. ... My going-in strategy would be to disengage, not on a known timetable because it gives too many options to the enemy, but set a course for disengagement out of there, knowing full what will follow will be a disaster. But there is going to be a disaster anyway."

-- Ret. Gen. Merrill A. McPeak, former USAF Chief of Staff (Regretfully), Southern Oregon Mail Tribune, 1/10/2007

Personally, I’d say that our Israel/Palestine policy is broken. Not much damage that Obama can do to that.

I’ve heard that the “older” American Jews, who are heavily Democratic voters, are very nervous with an Obama candidacy. The younger, looney-left, liberal Jews are still enthralled by their “messiah”; B. Hussein Osama-Obama.

Another Obama Advisor With Anti-Israeli Views

Not exactly earthshaking news, considering what we already know.
