Five Arrested After Deputy Gets Attacked By Mob Of Men (Illegals in FL)

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. -- Five men, including four illegal immigrants have been caught after cops say they attacked a Lake County deputy. It happened on Long Acres Road in Sorrento, just off State Road 46, Sunday night.

Lake County sheriff's deputies used their helicopter to search the area in an attempt to find the men who beat up Deputy Cliff McMennamy.

"You wouldn't think a noise complaint would generate something like that," the deputy told Eyewitness News in an interview over the phone Monday morning.

McMennamy said he was checking out a complaint of a loud party when 35-year-old Miguel Gomez threw a beer bottle at his car. McMennamy chased him down and hit him with a taser. The deputy said he was then surrounded.

McMennamy was punched above his right eye, hit with a beer bottle and even kicked in the jaw.

"While it was in progress, my worst fear was one of them having a weapon, a gun or a knife," he said.

Before they took his taser and bullets, McMennamy tried to radio for help, but it didn't get reception.

Amazingly, he used his cell phone to call while he fought away the attackers. The Lake County Sheriff's Office says their motivation was murder; they were trying to pull the gun from his holster.

"This is a bad situation that could have been worse," said Sgt. John Herrell, Lake County Sheriff's Office.

The 27-year-old deputy has been a member of the sheriff's office for two years. He said he'll be back to work on Wednesday.

"It won't be hard. I wouldn't trade this job for the world," he said.

Deputies are still looking for seven other men involved in the attack. Four of the five men they've caught are going to be deported since they were in the country illegally.

Cell phone? He should have used his service revolver!

re: started with a noise complaint

Our neighborhood has been invaded by scores of illegals, at least I assume they’re illegal. They will rent a two or three bedroom house and within a week there will be a dozen or so pick up trucks there every night. The worst part is that they are noisy, often partying on the weekends until the wee small hours of the morning. Another problem is that it doesn’t take long for the property to begin to suffer from abuse and neglect. We also have quite a few legal immigrants in the neighborhood and they, without exception, are great neighbors. They take great care of their houses and lawns and are always very friendly when encountered on the street or in a store. They are the most vocal opponents of the illegals that move in and take over rental property.

Part of me would like to sell and move to another neighborhood but we’ve been at this address for 40 plus years now and it’s home to us having raised our three children here. The city, by way of its zoning regulations, tries to keep things under control but it can take six months or more for the system to grind through the process of getting them to move out. By that time the property is usually worthless, in fact it’s a liability to the owner who has to foot the bill for restoring it. Several of the houses have simply been torn down and the lots now sit vacant.

As early as 12 years ago, when he was my representative, I was a regular at Newt’s Town Hall Meetings where I spoke in support of the FairTax. 70% or more of the others who took the mike were visibly ANGRY ABOUT THE FAILURE TO STOP THE GROWING FLOW OF ILLEGALS! (At several sessions, Newt suggested the 100,000 IRS agents be given weapons and sent down to the border with Mexico.) That certainly works for me.

Under Bush, that flow became a TORRENT!

He CLEARLY doesn’t care WHAT we think!

DO TRY TO GET THAT MEMORY OVER THE TRADITIONAL 20 NANOSECOND LEVEL AND HOLD THE THOUGHT THROUGH NOVEMBER ’08!

In ABSTRACT terms, this is the conspiratorial view of what’s going on vis-à-vis the INVASION of the illegals here:

The current alien invasion from the south serves BOTH the elites who run Mexico – and many of the OTHER states of Central and South America -- and the political ruling class who increasingly run the United States:

· It takes pressure off the 60 or so families who control approximately 80% of the wealth in Mexico. Without the northern “safety valve” (the United States) for their poor, those poor MIGHT be inclined to do what America’s early colonists found it necessary to do: Revolt! Parenthetically, that would be MY suggestion for them: Instead of fleeing here – and converting “here” to a larger, more poverty infested version of “there,” they ought to stay there and make “there” into their version of “here,” whatever that would be. Revolutions ARE messy and there are no guarantees that they will produce the desired result. But – according to one T. Jefferson – they are often necessary. Never forget that THIS country was born in revolution!

· For the NAFTA/CAFTA coveting US national ruling class – especially those who, in varying degrees, quest after some sort of One-World utopia run by guess who? – it provides yet another level of insecurity and tension among the indigenous populace which can be used to justify new and more draconian limits to freedom here. Instead of securing the borders, allow millions of illegals to come in and when the natives become alarmed, require a national ID card. “Your papers, please!” will soon become a phrase familiar to all. It’s Mr. Franklin’s trade of freedom for (false) security. It’s also the time-tested Hegelian Dialectic the One-Worlders have successfully worked like a rented mule.

While they occasionally squabble among themselves, the elites of history have ALL had one thing in common: They will do ANYTHING to remain in charge. And throughout that history, except for the 230 year-old experiment in freedom called “America,” most of the men who have walked the earth have lived as slaves to these elites whether they call themselves kings, emperors, potentates, sultans, czars – or presidents.

Get ready, folks. Unless some SERIOUS changes are made and the handful of Americans who CARE about liberty get involved, that history will almost certainly repeat here.

Now for the SPECIFICS of the matter:

My take on Bush's role in all of this is:

1. His long and apparently positive experience with the large hispanic population in Texas is largely responsible for his inaction on this alien invasion. And why wouldn't HIS experience with them be positive as he traveled in the highest, best-educated circles among them, not the Hispanic gangbangers and pine-straw spreaders...

2. Boy Jorge Bush was cared for by a Hispanic nanny for many years while his daddy was running Zapata Oil (into the ground).

3. His brother Jeb is married to a native of Mexico and his nieces and nephews are mixed blood. And before you scream "ethnocentric bigot" at me, there's nothing inherently wrong with that. But that fact -- and items 1 and 2 – DO predispose him to a warm and fuzzy feeling for folks from south of the Rio Grande.

And if -- in some strange and metastasizing American desire for a new royal family dynasty -- Jeb or his son should win the White House in some future presidential beauty contest designed to divert the American electorate every four years, I'd bet that HIS activities toward this alien invasion will make W's behavior look like a warm-up exercise.

Any vestige of Western European culture will be a distant memory.

Okay....I’ve printed it. I’m going to start faxing these stories to my Sens and Congresscritters and McCain. I made it a mission during the McCain Kennedy fiasco and I guess I’ll start again. This is getting to be too much and I’ve had it. If it’s civil war that they are asking for then I’m not so certain that that isn’t what they’re going to get.

Thank You.
I’ve been saying for years that the US is headed for serious civil troubles.
Most of the time folks just ignore my comments. That’s fine, I’ll be prepared for when the time comes and so will my extended family..

just my thoughts.

I’m sorry but that borders on ridiculous. GWB’s immigration stance is directly tied to the economy. He knows we don’t have the manpower needed to keep the economy strong. People who get free money won’t work!

If they had succeeded in wrestling his pistol away, the officer would be dead.

I'm a little surprised he didn't run afoul of a "Cucamonga Boxing Glove".

Another reason to send back up routinely for disturbance calls.

Oh, and another reason to seal the borders.

I've been saying for years - Quit using the brute strength of government to take money away from people who work to give to people who won't work and Americans will be coming out of the woodwork to "do the jobs Americans won't do".

What is she then?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columba_Bush

Columba Bush (born August 17, 1953) is the wife of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and the sister-in-law of President George W. Bush.

Bush was born as Columba Garnica Gallo in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, where she grew up and attended high school. Her parents were Jose Maria Garnica, a migrant worker, and Josefina (or Josephina) Gallo. She met Jeb Bush in 1971 in León, where he was teaching English as part of a foreign exchange program. They were married on February 23, 1974, in Austin, Texas.[1]

I think you had better check your facts before posting.

Columba Garnica Gallo was born in León, Guanajuato, Mexico , where she grew up and attended high school. Her parents were Jose Maria Garnica, a migrant worker, and Josefina (or Josephina) Gallo. She met Jeb Bush in 1971 in León, where he was teaching English as part of a foreign exchange program. They were married on February 23, 1974, in Austin, Texas.

The "migrant worker" dad is most likely why -- along with numerous other factors found in my earlier post -- Clan Bush has warm, fuzzy feelings for illegals.

Which is, of course, why after ICE raided a number of meat packing plants up north around mid 2007 and hauled away all the illegals, the lines to REPLACE these irreplacable “guest workers” stretched around the block.

All those jobs that Americans wouldn’t do — were filled by Americans.

Better luck next time.

And, pal, if YOUR el presidente WERE serious about keeping terrorists out, he’d have secured the BORDERS years ago.

Could the Patriot Act (LOL) and his other actions be motivated by something else?

Why the officer did not shoot his assailants is beyond me.

He was alone, backup was not available, and he was at the mercy of a mob of Mexicans, not a culture where human life has any value.

Those Mexicans were very lucky they are merely being deported, rather than being buried.

Actually, I will be surprised if they are not actually released due to the Feds being too busy to deport people for mere “fighting”, “loud noise complaint”, blah, blah, blabber, blabber.

After all, the Obamination, the HillaBeast, and Libtards in general, want us to “embrace diversity” because “diversity is our strength”.
