Her original remarks could have been a “miss-speak”. However, I saw her response (another thread) to a reporter that mentioned Sinbad saying how “I don’t remember any snipers - I just remember wondering when the next meal was” and she says something like “well - he’s a comedian...”. Then she goes into detail again about the C-17 or whatever, the cancelled handshakes on the tarmac and running to the terminal.

How can one “miss-speak”, and after a day or few after already some discussion about it - reaffirm your statement when it is not true? I guess once the video tape got played, etc. you have to come clean. (ohhhhh - THAT Bosnia!)

Clinton acknowleged today for the first time that it was a "misstatement" when she said in a major prepared foreign policy speech last week that "I remember landing under sniper fire" but also tried to brush off the entire issue as "a minor blip."

Ohhhhhh...so...is she also acknowledging that the trip to Bosnia offers no substantive evidence of her foreign policy acumen?

Saw the film of her arriving in Bosnia, several times today. Smiles all around, shaking hands, talking to child, didn’t see a single sniper, no gun shots, no one in a rush, etc. She really is disgusting.

Anyone with half a brain would know that no military pilot would be allowed to land an aircraft with the first lady and first daughter on board if they were receiving hostile fire. Military heads would have rolled if that were true. The secret service would have shot the pilot and flown the plane out to there themselves before they let that happen.
