I really hope this study didn’t cost us a lot of money.
left out the most important item MONEY
I remember those women from when I was single. They would never leave me alone.
“That has been my experience.”
Unless they have a really low self esteem, then you see the beautiful woman with the 300 lb beast.
Another reason I got a lady from the Philippines. Average men can get a good wife, who is also beautiful. Not all are good, so I was very selective and sucessful at it.
The Husband Store
A store that sells new husbands has just opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the product increases as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.
On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs.
The second floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.
“Wow,” she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.
“Oh, mercy me!” she exclaims, “I can hardly stand it!”
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes on to the sixth floor and the sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor.
This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
Finally explained! I have always wondered why the most unattractive guy in every way approaches the most desirable woman in every way and is shocked when she turns him down. Even though many guys could never catch the '10', they look down on the woman in their range and think they can catch what they desire.
I’ve seen a lot of smoking hot women clinging to absolute losers.
So I can guess we can expect a raise in tuition at UT next academic year...
Obviously not getting it all, my experience says they are settling for the Economic Investment.............
Again, it boils down to the prerogatives for males and females. Males want to propagate their DNA, females want both the best male DNA, and a good provider to help them raise their offspring. Often not the same male.
This is the basic biological level. However, monogamous marriage evolved because it promised a better deal for the male, the female, and their offspring, than just mere biology.
Socially enforced, the male was promised that the offspring would be his. In exchange, the female was promised that he would use his resources to help her raise her offspring, not to seek other females. And of course, the children benefited most of all.
But marriage only works when it is enforced. When it started to fail in society, the law had to intervene to create essentially the same contract. Its primary emphasis is the children, but eventually it will have to include DNA tests to assure the father that he is the father. As long as the father provides for his children, insisting that the couple stay together isn’t as important.
The reason marriage failed in society is because economic, rather than biological reasons were created for it. This resulted in severe problems, such as child marriage, dowry, marriages of convenience, and non-procreative marriages.
This baggage resulted in a societal rejection of marriage as an unjust anachronism, not seeing the underlying purpose of the practice. This rejection can be seen in philosophical and scientific efforts to justify basic biological reproduction without marriage. Which will fail, because marriage just is a better way.
Don’t we all?
