Sharia is just another name for islamic power grab. muslim imams and ayatollahs and whatevers salivate at the prospect of telling everybody in the world what they can and cannot do, and punishing those who transgress against the fatwah-of-the-day.
Those would indeed be Dark Ages. Well, at least the environmental wackos would be happy with the population of the world down to one million.
Sharia is a back door “convert or die” and is how the Muslims can lie about Islam not being a conversion by the sword.
They simply require all non-muslims to live in abject subjugation and put severe restrictions on any other religions.
Now... would other religions grow or decline under this scenario, do you think?

Sura (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."
Tabari 7:97 The morning after the murder of Ashraf, the Prophet declared,"Kill any Jew who falls under your power."
Ibn Ishaq: 327 - “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”
Interestingly, this was exactly the situation in the Ottoman Empire. Of course, the various classes of citizens were by no means equal before the law.

There is nothing - absolutely nothing redeeming aobut his twisted evil heresy that holds anything positive for humanity except maybe uniting Christians to defend their faith... and convert or more likely re-convert the oppressed muslims to the Lord.
...at least not right away.
However much they can encroach before resorting to violence, they will do first.
Then they’ll take out the rest of them violently.
Their religion cannot accept any land or any people not subject to Islamic law.
