Grim? The Dems are making the most of it.
Can we hear a rebuttal, an opposing view—preferably from the brave troops who are there, fighting and risking their lives, well aware of the dangers, and completely committed to finishing their mission?
I’d love to see the MSM have the guts to have an active duty soldier’s rebuttal immediately follow the beat-a-retreat Dhimmicrats in their unbiased “reporting”.
Dems have spent the last 6 months ignoring events in Iraq lest they have to confront the successes resulting from the “Surge”. Yet they must be watching at some level to have noticed the 4,000 death. Now they can get back the unreal debate about who can pull out of Iraq the fastest, or who was against the invasion of Iraq first.
They were just sad they didn’t have 4000 casualties beforehand, to coincide with the 5th anniversary.
They should add the yearly total murders in Philly, DC, LA and a couple other Lib hangouts and see how they match up with Iraq yearly totals.
4,000...that was the number of Americans killed exactly one-half hour after the Battle of D-Day, after one hour in the Battle of Anzion, in a half-day at Iwo Jima, and in the first day of the Battle of the Bulge.

Not belittling the deaths- their sacrifices should always be appreciated and honored, but let's get some perspective here.
Grim? Several million freed Iraqi’s is ‘grim’? One of hte world’s MOST violent human rights violator’s and brutal dictators dead and gone is ‘grim’?
And what Senator Barack would constitute ‘cheery’ to you? More mass graves? More people being shoved through shredders alive? More people being thrown off rooftops alive? More people hanging by their arms while they are set on fire alive? More innocent civilians raped so brutally by Saddam’s thugs that they died from the wounds they recieved during the rapes?
Senator Barck should shut hte hell up or go to Iraq, stand over a mass grave where tens of thousands of bodies lie, and tell the victims families that this war should have never been fought by America!
Hey Obama how does harping on the number of U.S. casualties invite Bi-partisanship? Didn’t think you had an answer for that one either you empty suit.
