My sister-in-law, Barbara Robinson, passed away on Saturday. She had been suffering from cancer for several months. She had underwent radiation therapy and they thought it was gone, but it came back a couple months later and caused much pain and suffering before it took her life. She was a devoted wife, mother and dear friend. My brother, Don Robinson, is heartbroken and feeling lost. They had been sweethearts since they first met as teenagers. They had been married for over forty years. He and his family are in need of prayer.
Barbara also leaves her surviving children, Jeanette Draper and Jackie Harris and grandson Eric Robinson. Her son Don Jr. preceded her in death. She also leaves her loving father Lawrence Baker and brothers Mike, David and Timothy and sister Kathy. The Robinson and Baker families have been very close these last forty plus years. Weve traveled and camped together from one end of California to the other. Barbara was like a mother to us all. She cared for us and looked out for us. She was always there when anyone needed her. She especially looked out for me and Sheila after she had her stroke. She came over three times a week to help Sheila bathe and dress, cleaned our house and fixed our lunch. And, as I was working at my desk, she made sure my cup or glass was never empty. She was a great and loving friend to us all. We will remember her always.
God bless.
I’ll pray for all.
Jim,
I am so sorry about your sister-in-laws passing. I will keep you and your brother in my prayers.
I pray that you and your family find comfort in the many lovely memories you have shared with us of Barbara. I don’t think a finer tribute is possible. I’m sure she loved you as much as we do.
My most heartfelt condolences, Froufrou
Oh, how sad for all of you. Cancer is such a horrid disease and it’s hurt my family, too. I can understand how you are feeling. Prayers for all of you during this difficult time. Keep well, Jim.
I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers for the entire family.
May God bless and comfort you all.
