Tonight Obama was on Larry King Alive...continues to say there’s no need to renounce Rev. Wright or leave the TUCC because “he’s retiring”...continues to say he never heard “those statements” in when he was there... these are just sound bites compressed into a short segment that don’t typify his remarks... there’s a lot of “pent up” anger in the black church, he wants to be held accountable for what he (Obama) says, not someone else...”there are flaws in the African American community just like there are in any other community”...says he told the Rev. Wright he (Obama) was “uncomfortable with some of these statements”, etc.

Obama is lying about not hearing more inflammatory statements. He tries to broaden the debate to deflect criticism of his judgment, his racist pastor, and his church’s racist philosophy. He continues to limit his criticism to select statements by Rev. Wright, mostly not specifying which ones, as though Rev. Wright didn’t hold these statements as part of his philosophy, and as though they didn’t exactly reflect his church’s philosophy known as black liberation theology.

But many of Obama's supporters say he has recognized this new political climate in a way that Clinton has not. They say he is ready for a new, self-assured progressive era in which progressives (few have returned to the word liberal) make no apologies about their goals - universal health care, withdrawing troops from Iraq, ending tax breaks for more affluent Americans - and assume that a broad swath of the public shares them.

Yes, let's let the Dhimmicrats loudly proclaim their radical agenda. But let's make sure the public knows what Obama is really toting. Progressives' goals: socialist, substandard, government-run health care; defeat and surrender in Iraq; raising taxes.
