I actually remember seeing some show on TV when I was about 12 that showed the bloody limbs of an aborted fetus. Looking back, I can’t think why my mother even let me watch it, but it’s definitely had a lasting impact on me. It showed the real-life implications of this practice, and for the life of me, I can’t imagine how anyone would want to go through with it.
Having dated 3 women who admitted to having abortions, I wonder if it’s not a more common practice. And then it begs the question of whether or not the late-term practice is more widespread than we think. Many women look at the morning-after pill (how apropos a name it is) as a designated hitter, because to them, it’s just like passing a mass of cells that weren’t given the chance to turn into a life. Why... for the love of God... did you let yourself get into that position in the first place?
Happy Easter, everybody! Interesting discussion topics for the morning of the Resurrection.
