Judge delays setting trial in Clinton fraud case But accuser begins seeking sworn testimony from high-profile witnesses

A judge in Los Angeles yesterday allowed Hollywood mogul Peter F. Paul to begin taking sworn testimony in his $17 million fraud suit against former President Bill Clinton, but a technicality delayed establishment of a trial date.
California Superior Court Judge Aurelio N. Munoz ruled Paul's legal team can begin seeking depositions from a host of big names including Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton that allegedly were witnesses to an effort by the Clintons and top Democratic leaders to extract millions of dollars from Paul in illegal donations and then cover it up.
Munoz is expected to set the trial date at an April 25 hearing. He said yesterday in court he could not set the date, because defendant Jim Levin, an aide to President Clinton, must be served notice again. Levin did not respond to the original complaint, and Paul's legal counsel at the time the Washington watchdog Judicial Watch did not file a notice of default to verify that fact before filing an amended complaint.

There seems to be a lot of chickens settling down to roost everywhere the demRats turn
Are you having fun yet?
Keep us posted.
Congressman Billybob
On April 25 is a status conference to set the date. It will also open the way to serve her for an August deposition.
Sounds like a stalling tactic - judge must be a dem!
Doug, do you get to participate in these events?
I’ve been to all the court hearings. I hope to attend the depositions as an assistant, but Kendall may try to stop that.
This is beginning to look like a Keystone Cops production and will never get off the ground. The Judge's middle name is "bought and paid for."
The judge replied: "Well, any opposition is probably going to be dead on arrival, if that will if you understand what I'm saying, Mr. Kendall."
It sounds like this judge isn't going to fall for the "Hey, I'm far too important to waste time answering to your court" tactics.
The arrogant clintons think that laws are just for the little people.
clintons know how to cover their bases!!!
We recognize what it means that they fear your simple presence.
This wasn’t a Judicial Watch screw up. It was superior lawyering by Kendall to sneak in a provision in the order that prevented depositions until after defendant Jim Levin is served.
I’m not sure, but it may well be him.
Superior lawyering by Kendall. Okay. The other side could use a superior lawyer. I guess things are moving as fast as they can without actually coming to a dead standstill. Maybe a verdict by mid-century?
Great! keep us posted. I have friends I am informing on this since the press doesn’t let us know.
bump
Discovery before the election is as important as the trial. That is going to reveal the crimes. Yes, Judicial Watch screwed that up some time ago. The more recent thing was Kendall’s provision for no discovery until the other defendant is served. So, yes, from before JW really screwed it up. They not only mishandled the case, but also raised probably over 10 million dollars in solicitations for Peter’s case, only a small fraction of which actually was spent on his case. Tom Fitton, why don’t you finally come clean and settle with Peter?
Will a globalist stooge Clinton appointed judge be setting that date?
If so, most likely would be after Nov 5th or some such?
Any such shenanigans . . . I’d vote for a recall drive for the judge.
State appointed judge. The Clinton-appointed judge threw the Rosen trial. I think he needs a YouTube shoved you know where.
I’ll just agree . . . anything I might add would be less than Christian and . . . troubling . . . I just think
your treatment is milder than warranted. LOL.
Something to that “people living in glass houses”. This should get real interesting.
