I am late, but that is a welcome typical rant from the children.

We don’t need a President for a while. It’s going to kill us to think about it.

That’s right, Cicero!

Sounds like this fool Don Kaul is smokin’ somethin’ strong, because his reasoning is warped...How does saying this

“But should the economy go that far south, the Republicans are perfectly capable of convincing voters that the Democrats are at fault.”

...make any sense? It doesn’t. Bush and the RINOs were in control EVERYTHING from 2000-2006 and in control of The White House for over 7 years. The Dems can only be blamed for being like the House Repubs were accused of being—a do nothing Congress. Bush has created the policy. How this fool can pin the nation’s woes on the Dems is beyond me, and I’m an Indy con, not a Dem.

The only question right now is what federal department will Huma be appointed to head in January 2009, the new Department of Homo Affairs?

Someone with a logon to DU needs to post a link to the Donner Party Cookbook. I have seen it for sale in Colorado. Maybe it can be the official cookbook for the DNC in Denver!

Obama's message of change has suddenly become center stage in the campaign because what he might change the nation to is now on the table.

...and it aint pretty

I have said that for the dims to win this election they need only nominate a responsible adult.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, there is just no chance of that happening.

“I wouln’t put too much money on that jerk, McCain. The Republicans have done their best to lose the race, too.”

Well they DID nominate the most hated (by other Repubs and the ever-dwindling base) Republican in the U.S. Senate so one can only come to the same conclusion.

It wasn't enough to bring forward the first woman to mount a serious run at the presidency; they also produced the first black candidate with a chance to win.

I was hoping for the first dwarf, the first blind person, the first person with size 18 shoes, the first person with 12 toes, or 11 fingers. Why stop with pigmentation and sex organs - when shallow's the goal, go all the way.

There is a hellish economic meltdown coming, I think. But the media and the Dems will blame it on Bush, anyway.

Of course the Klintoons were always like this.

Groomed by the globalist traitors to be supreme globalist traitor stooges.

I don’t think the DIMRATS are throwing the election.

I think they will end up getting Shrillery in office unless we do everything we can to prevent it. Especially prayer and actions between now and Nov.

Shrillery is their BEST, MOST EVIL, MOST RUTHLESS MOST LIKE THEM STOOGE. She’ll push us into the global government faster than the rest. She’s eager to out globalist the globalists.

She is super evil super bad news. I don’t trust her nor the POWERS THAT BE a subatomic particle’s worth.

I think Rush has been playing with our destiny too blindly.

Beating her before the convention is wise.

As a result, Democrats are facing three months of guerrilla warfare between two estimable candidates, one of whom will leave the convention as the triumphant nominee---nose bent to one side, an ear hanging by a thread, missing three front teeth:

Ain't it grand. Hillary will not bow out for nothing. She's waited forever to be Pres., and Obama is not going anywhere either ...not with the delegate lead. No way no how. No big wig Dem is going to get these two to end this fight until September. They, the Dems, do not have a leader that can persuade one of these two to take a bow for the good of the party. They are a leaderless bunch. Ain't it grand! ;-)

I have a very good friend from grade school all the way through college who was a precinct captain for Obama in Seattle during the Washington State caucus/primary. He briefed me on the dirty tricks of the Clinton campaign. I waited. And yes, despite the huge lump in his throat, he admitted that I was probably right all through the Clinton years. I presented him with plenty of facts in the 90’s and he always used Carville spin as retorts. I should note he’s a physics undergrad and attorney, no intellectual shlub.

The chickens have come home to roost.

I don’t dislike thoughtful Democrats and in-fact get along perfectly well with many. We have our debates and I like to think I’ve opened a few minds but I enjoy it none-the-less.

I’ve taken some of the comments from that DU thread not for schaudenfraud but to illustrate that there are people who are coming to terms with their prior support of the Clintons and maybe thinking that those of us that opposed them are not knuckle dragging cave men. I welcome this progress.

“I have thought back to the times I defended the Clintons against Repubs, and now I wonder....were THEY the ones who were right? It would seem so.

but it’s not absurd to think that we’d tolerate different standards when it comes to fighting against conservatives vs. fighting against fellow democrats.

I’ve felt obliged to tell those friends and acquaintances who we were affiliated with when living on bases during the 1990s that THEY WERE RIGHT about the BAD character and LACK OF INTEGRITY of both Clintons. Yes, (I’m sweating blood confessing this) to people I once argued with BUT the Clintons are as smarmy as they come.

I was thinking today about the Arkansas State Troopers who said under oath that they provided security for Bill Clinton during trysts in the governor’s mansion. I bought the spin that they were just stupid rednecks sponsored by wealthy vindictive right wingers. Judging by the Clintons’ behavior, these were probably decent men.

Yes!!!! I hate it but I’m starting to feel like the Republicans were right about the Clintons.

i am thinking for the first time I agree a bit with the republicans about how secretive they are. i hate when democrats act like the republicans i don’t respect, it makes us look bad.

I’ve found myself wondering if the Repukes were right about them all along...

the Clintons were always this way. I was blind to the way they were because the attacks came from the reTHUGs. I hated the reTHUGs so much that I didn’t believe ANYTHING they said. In opposition to them I defended EVERYTHING the Clintons said and did.

I spent entire weeksof my life defending hem, now I wonder, do I owe my republican friends an apology?

I was a duped delusional. About Carville, too.”
