That’s right, Cicero!

Sounds like this fool Don Kaul is smokin’ somethin’ strong, because his reasoning is warped...How does saying this

“But should the economy go that far south, the Republicans are perfectly capable of convincing voters that the Democrats are at fault.”

...make any sense? It doesn’t. Bush and the RINOs were in control EVERYTHING from 2000-2006 and in control of The White House for over 7 years. The Dems can only be blamed for being like the House Repubs were accused of being—a do nothing Congress. Bush has created the policy. How this fool can pin the nation’s woes on the Dems is beyond me, and I’m an Indy con, not a Dem.

History suggests that when there are economic problems, the voters blame it on the party in the White House, regardless of what the real facts might be.

A few people might notice that the Dems in congress haven’t done much to fullfil their pledges, such as ending the Iraq war. But they won’t blame them for the economy. Good or bad, Bush gets the credit for that.
