Good!
Perhaps someone would introduce McCain to some CONSERVATIVES for running things. I’m sure he doesn’t know many personally that he’s on good terms with.
My question is who truly and seriously would be the best person to run the Republican National Convention?
No, Rush didn’t. If you recall he’s now irrelevant.

Republican National Committee officials confirmed today that former Hewlett-Packard boss Carly Fiorina is moving in to take over as chair of Victory 2008, the group that raises money and handles the get-out-the-vote operation, including the 72-hour campaign leading up to Election Day.

eBay’s Meg Whitman to co-chair McCain’s campaign
Sat Mar 15, 8:02 PM ET
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Meg Whitman, eBay Inc.’s outgoing chief executive officer, will co-chair the national presidential campaign of U.S. Senator John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee.
The organization said on Friday Whitman, 51, would play a lead role in the campaign’s financing and policy development.

So which one of these liberal women are we talking about here?
Now if they could just prevent a Democrat man from being nominated at the convention...
How about Hillary?
She’s got tons of experience and will probably be available.
Remember how McCain called himself a Conservative Republican? Well, actions speak louder than words. His last chance will be the VP spot. If he does not pick a solid conservative, I’m staying home or voting Democrat. Between him and his choice of VP, we’re talking about a potential 16 years of liberal Republican rule. I don’t think the GOP could survive that, and I care too much for the GOP (as a vehicle for conservatism) to let that happen.
A couple of days ago I would have suggested Peggy Noonan, but that was before she gushed about Obama's speech and showed her dementia.
Jersey - click on my links - we are talking about Bobbie Greene Kilberg, a liberal Republican, and McCain supporter, from Viginia.
They should do something like the Roasts for actors.
I’m not so much worried about the GOP surviving those 16 years, as I am the country being able to survive those 16 years.
BTW, what are a majority of conservatives truly going to do during the Republican National Convention anyways? Are they just going to ignore the whole thing and keep their anger and disappointment to themselves (as if by a “gag order”)?
Don’t stay home and don’t vote demorat. Do a write-in like I will be doing.
I say we rent a day at Knob Creek and have fun.
:)
Amen. Between three evils of Obama, McCain, and Clinton, Clinton is the least of the evils because she could do the least damage. Everybody hates her. She'd have a short and rocky four-year term. She'd be booted by an angry America in 2012. Republicans would pick up seats in congress. She'd get nothing done because of enemies on both sides of the aisle. She'd mortify the Democrat party for decades to come. Long term, nothing but good could come for Republicans if Hillary wins the presidency. Whether you like it or not, it is what it is.
McCain and as VP a fellow government-growth Republican, such as MBA-manager Romney, would be the worst of the three evils because they'd fool a lot of people into the "lesser of two evils" Republican rescue myth, to much bad end, increase government mightily, and dispirit all the future voters who convert (as they get older) to limited government conservatism and find that the Republican party is just a Daddy version of Mommy Democrat Liberalism. No alternative to big government equals no one to vote for. That's worse for the future of the Republican party than four years of a hated Hillary who will expose the rot in the Democrat party like an angel.
We aren’t going to whip McCain into shape. He is what he is, and his supporters like that he is too arrogant to admit that he is wrong. He is the Democrat’s Republican, a Republican Democrat, and he will need a lot of Democrat votes to win, so why shouldn’t he surround himself with liberals? Once he is elected, it is a sure bet that McCain won’t let conservatives stand in the way of the liberals who will influence him. ...If McCain can pull as many Democrat votes as Democrats are claiming, he might not need conservatives, and for certain, he won’t need me telling him to appoint conservatives. He won’t need me at all, which is a good thing for the both of us.
McCain has had Jack Kemp out shilling for him on TV for a while now. I don’t like Jack Kemp, another RINO. And he too is incredibly arrogant. Instead of faulting Obama for his 20 year relationship with his Preacher man, Kemp excuses this behavior and praises Obama. With friends like these, who needs enemies. Kemp did this just tonite on Hannity & Colmes Fox TV show. Kemp also believes just the same as McCain on his amnesty for illegals position. Identical beliefs. Geez. I just don’t think I can pull the lever for McCain. What a horrible dilemna. I don’t like him. I don’t like the people he is surrounding himself with, a bunch of RINOs, and I don’t like his ideas and policies. Three strikes and he’s out.
