In my opinion, a church that preaches Black Liberation Theology is a very twisted Christian Ministry.
I heard the Louis Farrakhan plays a mean violin.
The UCC Members in the Pews in most congregations are not supportive of Wright.
Liberation theology, especially Black Liberation Theology, is Marxist crap. It's not Christianity because it expressly eschews Christ's color/race blind message. I firmly believe Black Liberation Theology is Evil - the work of the Devil.
If the writer is concerned about a “ridiculously miniscule sampling” of Wright’s words, then why worry about the commentators words? The criticism of his racial rants has been an even smaller sampling of the commentators words, when compared to their careers. Makes sense.
So let’s see ... judging from the second paragraph if I started up a church, oh, say “Our Lady of the Evening,” and attracted throngs of parishioners who supported my church’s, uh, teachings, I’d be considered a success too?
Went to the UCC Wisconsin COnference web site. Do you know anything about this denomination? Can you explain this page?

Racist apologia.
Sure, and it makes sense that “Reverend” Wright put the Hamas “Why We Kill Jews” letter into his Pastor’s Corner.
After all, between blowing up Jews, Hamas runs clinics. So it’s okay.
How is this different than saying the White Aryan Christian Identity Church does great work with convicts?
Okay, so how much crap from thisguy are we supposed to listen to before coming to a different conclusion?
This is total BS. We have had politicians who have had to leave office because of one poorly-chosen sentence or phrase, because according to the ‘offended’, “It really showed me what the man REALLY believes.”
BY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO WISH TO EXONERATE THIS BLACK RACIST PREACHER!!!
The same people who cry “FIRE HIM! FIRE HER!” when they utter one sentence or phrase they don’t like because THAT ONE SENTENCE reveals their inner character or what they truly believe, are now saying we should not do as they do, but do as they say.
I listened to about 10-20 minutes of different clips of Wright. I believe the guy is racist, and bigoted. He pushes black liberation theology, and I know what that is about. This guy is a racist. He hates whitey. There is hatred in his messages. He looks at his non-black brothers and sisters in Christ as an enemy and as the problem.
Yeah, Wright's a regular Adolf Hitler!
If I attended a congregation where the preacher attempted to make excuses for the hate speech of “Rever-rear end” Wright, I’d walk out. To defend hate is to be complicit in the hatred.
If Reverend Wright would sincerely repent and ask forgiveness for his past words, perhaps there could be some. But I think we’ve already seen him when he is truly sincere - on video.
My guess is God’s gonna demand an explanation when this hate-mongrel goes before him for judgement.
Barf alert!! Still doesn’t take away the fact that Obama’s buddy the Rev. Wright is an anti-American, racist!!
BLT = 60’s Black Panther Marxism filled with racist hatred of ALL whites and America’s founding values.
This sounds good, but it speaks well of Wright’s ability to manage and lead a church only. It says nothing about how he fills the hearts of his congregates with hatred and lies.
Leading and managing through lies and hatred is evil at its core, and being an exceptional leader of hate and lies is not characteristic a Christian should brag about.
Translation: We at UCC are doctrinare leftists. Hate speech coming from the pulpit is just fine if it advances the political cause that dominates our “theology.”
BUT those were the clips Wright himself choose to put on the "best of" video sold by his own church. One can only conclude that these clips are indicative of "Rev." Wrights entire 36 years ministry and these are the moments he is proudest of.
This moron has a divinity degree, probably a doctorate, and still whips out a totally specious argument like this?

Doesn't change my feelings. 15 seconds or 1000 hours his white hatred showed and it was vicious. Hard to put the genie back into the bottle. From the mouth of Hussein Obama himself, "Don't tell me words don't matter".
Sorry, there is a big difference between just saying something and preaching it.
To preach something is to believe it and to sell others on the idea!
