Pennsylvania Voters Switching to Dems in Droves, Despite Online Glitch
Pittsburg Post Gazette ^ | 3/21/08 | Tom Barnes

HARRISBURG -- The Rendell administration is scurrying to fix a glitch in an online voter registration form, a flaw that could permit the unauthorized disclosure of some people's driver's license numbers and the last four digits of their Social Security numbers.

Mrs. Amoros said thousands of people have been signing up to vote in recent weeks -- either first-time voters or those who want to switch their registration to Democrat so they can take part in the April 22 political showdown between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

"It's just been incredible, the number of people changing to Democrat," said Mrs. Amoros.

The nine counties that showed the largest percentage increases in Democrats over the past six months were mainly in two areas of the state, the Philadelphia suburbs and the central region of the state, an area known historically for being conservative and having many more Republicans than Democrats.

Statewide, there are now 3,994,605 Democrats, or 111,000 more than last November's total of 3,883,378.

The crossover vote needs to get organized! half for Hillary and half for Obama! We need a coordinating committee and staffers and volunteers as Operation Chaos destroys socialism in our time!

There was some elitist dhimmirat trying to imply that this was illegal and that they’d pursue prosecution.

Just like a ‘rat - you don’t do what we want you to do and we’ll bring down the gov’t on you.

She's not going to lose PA but we need to keep her popular vote down. She would be harder to beat in Nov. The dems have enough racist that would vote Hillary but not Obama.

Spot on analysis.

There are too many that want to sing “Ding Dong the Witch is dead” that they don’t understand the numbers.

SHE CAN’T CATCH HIM and get a legitimate lead in delegates before the convention.

And WHEN she steals it, everyone will know it’s because he holds the views of the perpetually aggrieved victims, who will stay home in disgust.

How tough was it emotionally to switch parties

I had to vote in the Democratic primary in Durham, NC a couple of years ago so I could try to get Mike Nifong defeated.

When the voting was done, I actually felt dirty for having voted for several Democrats for the first time. I had to go take a shower and grab a beer afterwards.

Hillary won't drop out, she'll continue hoping he stumbles. Vote Obama so Hillary will get even meaner.

In all honesty, I don’t believe that Obama is a White hater.I listened to his whole speech and I was moved by him....I’m a Republican who despises the rotten clintons with all my heart......
My hat’s of to Obama, he has my respect, however he won’t get my vote in the general election. It has nothig to do with race either.....

Dead wrong. She'll stay in as she will win PA anyway but we need to keep her popular vote down. The idea that she has the popular vote will be equally appealing to SDs. We need Obama as the nominee. If she gets the nomination she'll be the real comeback kid and Katie bar the door. Keep her down vote Obama.

Good move. HRC will take PA, so it must be by as little as possible. If she breaks through, ties Obama in popular votes, comes close in pledged delegates, and somehow manages to get some seating deal for FL and MI, she’s gonna win it. And, believe me, she’s got a big bag of tricks. Most of the supers WANT to vote for Clinton and are just waiting for the justification.

I am in PA and was going to switch to vote for Obama to knock ole Hill out, but after this past week, I am not sure he would be any better than Hill, whereas I did before.

I want her to win PA so it will be Chaos at the convention. There is a good chance the Dems will fracture with this. Also, if they do run her as President, who will want a woman whose voice sounds like scratching chalk and has fat legs.

As for me, I think I'll do a write in this year.

While I prefer Obama to be the nominee...Because I thinks he's toast in the GE. He'll put blue states into play like NJ & PA, that would be solid Hillary; and force the Dems to spend more $$ defending. That said I want Hillary to win big in PA to keep the Dem civil war going; preferably through November.

If you want McCain to win, vote for Obama. He’ll go down in flames in the general election and hurt the ‘Rats badly down the ticket. If you want McCain to lose so that he doesn’t have a chance to destroy the GOP, vote for Hillary. She’s the only ‘Rat who has a shot at winning the general election. The only way Obama wins the nomination now is with a decisive lead over Hillary after the primary season is over. If his lead is small, and Hillary is still in the running, she’ll be the nominee.

Rush’s “operation chaos” was stupid, unless he **wants** the ‘Rats to win this election. Obama is, and always has been, a certain loser in the general election, and the one ‘Rat candidate who would also cost other ‘Rats to lose in House & Senate races.

Oh, Obama is going to be forced to take the beast as VP.

I would advise him to think that option over very carefully.

Hitlary’s and Obama’s campaigns now realize the cross-over vote will decide the outcome in Penn. The power to zap either one keeps the confusion and chaos going!
