Yes, it does come down to worldview. Christianity teaches ‘pick up your mat,’ it teaches personal responsibility, it teaches one to rise above whining and blaming others, it teaches forgiving over resentment, it teaches honoring character over race and living an honorable life, in spite of all odds.

But BO’s church teaches and values NONE of these things.

I believe they are not teaching Christianity at all. (duh, huh?)

Sadly, I agree.

I had a friend who was a missionary in Central America. He said once, through a more or less miraculous series of events, almost an entire village came to follow Jesus within a short period of time.

He said about a year later he went back there and he could not believe how this place had changed! People had started finding ways to provide for themselves better and just on and on. He said the practical effect of how the individuals had changed their worldview was mind-blowing!
