They kept the young woman for seven days (filming her nudity etc) and at the end had her sign legal paperwork and didn't ask for her ID? I can't believe that..

You can bet that not only do they have a signed release, but a copy of her ID (which would have been faked.)

It's not different than the scam that Traci Lords played when she was starring in porn when she was (I think) 16 years old.

Los Angeles — A check of the Girls Gone Wild archives has potentially saved the video company $1-million (U.S.).

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis says he offered the million-dollar sum to 22-year-old Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the call girl linked to ex-New York governor Eliot Spitzer.

The money was for Ms. Dupre to appear in a non-nude spread for his company's new magazine, plus a chance to join the Girls Gone Wild tour bus.

However, Mr. Francis says somebody suggested at a staff meeting Tuesday that they check the archives. Workers discovered they already had film of Ms. Dupre, who had shed her clothes for a video while partying as an 18-year-old in Miami.

Mr. Francis told the Associated Press that the discovery will save him a million dollars, describing it as “kind of like finding a winning lottery ticket in the cushions of your couch.”

Mr. Francis says at that point, his offer is off the table.
