(Khalid Muhammed. remember him?)
He gained publicity in 1996, for instance, by joining with the NBPP in its battles with the Dallas school board. For several years, the group had disrupted board meetings demanding greater black representation; with Muhammad on board, Michaels went further, insisting on the resignation of the school board president, whom he described as "Nazi Germany all over. He is a dictator." When three members of the NBPP, including Michaels, were arrested on misdemeanor charges for preventing the board from meeting, Michaels and Muhammad issued a joint news release calling for "Black men with GUNS" to protect them at the next meeting. In response, school board officials canceled the meeting.
A few days later, Michaels again called on Muhammad, enlisting his help in leading a group of armed NBPP members to Greenville, Texas, after two black churches were burned down in the area. Muhammad announced that "we will set up patrols all across the country" to protect black churches. He added, "You catch a cracker lighting a torch to any black church, or any property of black people, we are to send them to the cemetery." In the same vein, Michaels stated, "The only thing that these racists understand is gunpowder, black gunpowder." (A black teen-ager was later indicted in connection with both fires.)
Malik Zulu Shabazz is the leader of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. Khallid Muhammad died in February 2001.
Thanks. Shoulda known he would be in the news if still alive!
This still true about the NBPP:
Ideology: A mix of black nationalism, Pan-Africanism and racist and anti-Semitic bigotry
I find the ADL often off-the-wall, but in this case they’re right on the money. NBPP= antisemitic racist poison.
Should still be in Google cache, also.
There was some REAL interesting stuff at the New Black Panther party website, but even that site has been pulled.
From google cache
See #8.
Yes, thank you. Here’s another cached New Black Panther party page.
What a hateful group! How is Obama connected to these guys or is he? Or is it Mr. Wright?
The New Black Panther Party expresses total support for the Black Liberation Theology preached by Obama’s pastor Rev.Wright.
Malik Zulu Shabazz coming up on H&C. Hannity gets a sound byte and so does Shabazz.

snips:
DURHAM, N.C. (FinalCall.com) - The present alleged rape case involving members of the Lacrosse team of Duke University has caused a major divide along racial lines in the city of Durham.
As a result of the media maligning the character of the rape victim, New Black Panther Party (NBPP) National Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz rallied his organization, local leaders and residents to take a stand against the injustice surrounding this heated case, and organized a press conference, demonstration and town hall meeting on May 1. As an attorney, he held concerns about the effective prosecution of the case and announced his decision to conduct a private investigation.
The history of Duke University is rooted in racism. Racism existed long before we (NBPP) got here. The two defendants must be brought to justice and we will accept nothing else! demanded Atty. Shabazz during the press conference held at the Duke campus entrance on Chapel Drive. We are here to say to our Sister, you need not fear testifying. You have strong support and backing.
He then strongly addressed how the victim has been made out to be the criminal in the media. The burden of this case has been put on the victim and they have made the criminals look like the victims. Her past is on trial and that is unjust. But we cannot stand by and do nothing. We (NBPP) are in this for the long run.
more at link....
“are in this for the long run”
Wonder what ‘ol Shabazz’s take on the Duke case is now?
