Hillary Clinton 'boasted' about First Lady role
London Telegraph ^ | 19/03/2008 | Toby Harnden

Hillary Clinton’s boasts that she gained major foreign policy experience as First Lady have been undermined after 11,046 pages of her White House schedules provided scant evidence to back up her claims.

Mrs Clinton signs autographs in Belfast, 1998 The documents were made public by the US national archives after pressure from her rival Barack Obama and freedom-of-information groups.

But many details were redacted at the request of lawyers acting for former president Bill Clinton, citing privacy and national security concerns.

Mrs Clinton’s staff insisted that the schedules illustrated her “extensive and exhaustive work” while arguing that they “of course cannot reflect all of Senator Clinton’s activities as First Lady”.

But details of her visits to Northern Ireland indicate that she went little beyond the traditional role of a president’s wife attending social events, meeting women’s groups and greeting children.

Despite Mrs Clinton’s claim last week that she was “instrumental” in bringing peace to Northern Ireland, the schedules do not record her attending a single policy meeting in the province.

Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you aren't.

President Bush is the final authority for determining what is a “national security concern”. The Clintons should not be allow to hide behind these execuses for not releasing ALL of her “escapades”.

Which puts me in mind of another quote...

It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Did Hitler redact Rommel’s book on tank warefare during WW2 because of “national security concerns”? No. What happened during the eight years of the Clinton orgy has no bearing on what is happening today. It is all ancient history. Release the records!!!

Rommel never wrote a book on tank warfare, that was Heinz Guderian (Panzer Leader) Rommel wrote Infantry Attacks and was working on Tank Attacks when he died. The book exists only as notes and manuscript.

P.S. The scene in the movie Patton has a Rommel “Tank Attacks” book, no doubt the source of much confusion. By the way, Rommel was a great commander, sorta crappy author.

Hillary did not have a security clearance. She could not have sat in on any important security briefings or decisions.

Apparently Hillary hit too many Irish bars on her tour of Ireland/Northern Ireland. That is why she makes the claims she does about playing an “instrumental” role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland.

The only thing she was playing was the fool, and that will prove to be “instrumental” in her defeat in November.

Keep lying Hillary, my garden needs more manure.
