Just what do you expect from a Democrat moonbat as police chief?

With very few exceptions Police Chiefs are nothing but political lapdogs for the local Mayor. They will only enforce those laws their masters deem appropriate, and public safety and decency be dammed.

Last night I was reading “Xenocide” (Orson Scott Card, second “Ender’s Game” sequel). There was a very insightful section about the importance of defusing mobs, and not giving into “oh, let ‘em get it out of their system”.
Lines need to be drawn.

Doing this the day after the Supreme Court heard final arguments in the Heller case was not smart on their part.

Thanks! We’re already taking on the moonbats in Studio City. We do it every Friday night, so we’re familiar with alot of the morons. Tonight will be same stuff, different day.

Actually they are probably hoping for violence. I’m just wondering...Who controls the fire department? Maybe they could hose them down.

No wonder the Mayor of Washington, D.C. wishes to keep the “citizens” disarmed by banning hand guns.........he obviously doesn't want any of his electorate shot dead as they deserve.
In this manner - only the lawless have guns....

DC is very keen on achieving “home rule”. Inaction in this case may well stem from that sentiment.

This is a perfect illustration of the iron grip that political correctness has on this country. Police only arrest the right “kind” of criminals. This is positively infuriating, but it will absolutely never ever ever ever change until We the People declare that enough is enough. And mean it.

Why is it some police chiefs feel it is necessary to bedazzle their uniforms with a rank representing about 30 more years of serving this country than they could ever dream of doing??? Because they think that dressing like a South American generalissimo adds weight to their authority??

Good for you! I bet the recruiters appreciated your sentiments. Now call the other ones, because it isn’t just the Marines that are under attack.
34 isn’t alot, but if patriots don’t get out in the streets, then it is a win for the anti-Americans.

Peaceful is fine. Recurring peaceful is fine.
It’s the ones that aren’t, especially when coordinated nationwide simultaniously, that garner my concern.

Actually they are probably hoping for violence. Of course they are ... the leftist protesters thirst for a return to the Mythical Sixties. They've said so themselves, calling for folks to "re-create '68". What they want, apparently, is a "long hot summer" of riots. Obama has effectively threatened such, and so have these protesters.
They've been going on about "vietnam" for five years. Can't have a "vietnam" without riots ...
