I have heard that the book mentioned is right on the money. There are a number of books on the market that take apart the Koran and the other texts and shine the light on what a bunch of nuts they are.
The interesting thing is most Moslems have no clue what's in their own writings and when confronted go ballistic and call for jihad.

But the story of the Hegira is probably as familiar to Muslims as the story of the Exodus is to Jews. I.e., it is absolutely central.
And Mohammmed's lies under oath are a central party of that story, known to all.
