hmmm. I think the trailer is great. It looks very funny, but then again, we’ve been fooled by trailers before.

I’ll be waiting for this one.

What's the big deal??!! When Eddie Murphy played an old Jewish guy or Richard Simons he was showing his “comedic genius.”

Have you seen "Norbit"?

From what I read, the premise of the movie is that these guys go over budget on their movie and can’t afford to hire actors. The writers end up playing all the parts themselves.

I just noticed...he looks like a strung-out Tiger Woods.

Iron Man is one of the few movies Im looking forward to besides the new 007.

I like Iron Man because Tony Stark isnt necessarily a “good guy,” but he’s also not the baddest bad guy either.

Or Billy Crystal as Sammy Davis Jr.

Tony Stark
Makes you feel
He's a cool exec
With a heart of steel.
As Iron Man,
All jets ablaze,
He fights and smite'n
With repulsor rays!
A blaze of power!
Iron Man!
Amazing armor!
Iron Man!

From what I’ve seen, his character (a white man) undergoes this transformation. It’s not like they couldn’t find an available black man for the role. And if they chose a black man, they would have had to put him in white face to start the film. Would those same folks have complained then?Sheesh

Watermelon Man - 1970, Godfrey Cambridge starst out as a white man and suddenly becomes black. It has been so long I do not remember if it was funny or not.

When I first saw it, it was amusing. By today’s standards it’s be a disappointment.

That is true with many movies that I remember fondly yet when I rent them I wonder what was I thinking. I guess our sense of humor changes over time.

I actually think they cast the right guy for Iron Man, at least the Iron Man I remember from the '60s - Tony Stark just had a certain attitude about it.

That said, this could be an entertaining movie with the right crowd, but I'm iffy about Stiller.
