Mikhail Gorbachev I think is now Russian Orthodox. Vladimir Putin and Dmitri Medvedev are both devout Christians. Its a remarkable journey for a man who on the surface was once a committed atheist.

Mikhail Gorbachev I think is now Russian Orthodox. He was visiting a Roman Catholic basilica in the company of a Lithuanian Catholic priest.
He may well be Catholic now.

Putin's journey is IMO more a political than a spiritual voyage.Think of him using the Orthooox Church as Obama using Trinity. I think Putin is still as cold as he had been during his days at the KGB.
As for Gorbachev, I make no judgement except to say that he has chosen the finest of Christian models.

Putin is about as Christian as Brando’s “Godfather” character.

Putin? I’ve known many Evangelicals and Baptist that think he’s the first cousin of the anti-Christ.
