Libs are "biomass" aren't they? Perfect solution.
The physics is sound. (I have a Master’s in EE with a heavy physics background - took more than most physics majors.) The problems are the politics (DOE took the project from DOD in a turf fight and then promptly canned it to keep their race track fusion research goldmine going) and some serious naivety about venture funding.
LOL!
Would be nice.
You must not have achieved complete combustion. Have to control the fuel air mixture closely. Dispersion, velosity and ignition timing are important too.
When are we going to build 40 nuke plants like the Chinese are doing? When are we going to get 90% of our electric from nuke, like the Socialist French do? If they can get their environuts under control, why can’t we? Why are none of the candidates talking about nuke power?
I am so sick of these nickel and dime “discovery” stories.
Ah. I was unaware of that, having no direct personal experience of burning farts. I defer of course to your superior knowledge and expertise in this area of organic chemistry. ;-)
That's what Jimmuh Carter was on...
that and too much methane, it's just terrible what that methane does to folks. I'm sure glad for the war on dumps to reduce the rampant methane addiction.
I'd never heard of it before, but now that it's linked to a solution to the energy crisis, it has certainly come to my attention.
If there was that much money to be made on it, he’d find a pack of lawyers willing to duel to the death for a percentage of the proceeds.
Is that a South Park reference?

Compliment graciously accepted.
the question on the long term viability of this process is
how much fuel production is possible, by this method, from the likely national annual production of sources of ‘biomass’ to be used in this method
the existing un-utilized stockpiles of possible biomass sources would only be a short term, immediate more-than-needed supply - possibly, that would soon run out if the natural annual production of biomass was less than the annually amounts needed to be used in this process
while i don’t have any figures - none were presented in this report - i suspect my concern is valid - that biomass fuel, like corn-ethanol, will neither end the use of natural fossil fuels or their importation here
bump for later read.
‘Me, Ive been waiting for someone to invent hot ice cream!’
i take it you never had the dessert called baked alaska /s
==> “...invented a car that runs on air...”
The secret is in the carbuerator - you need the exact mixture of air and ... AIR!
Yes, he seemed to find the very concept of venture funding distasteful. Sad if he really has something.
Ever had fried ice cream? Yummie!
Already being done -
this story was a year ago = it’s happening now
