You sound alittle angry brother, try to relax. Yes they are idiots, for sure. You have to remember it is all about feeeeeeeelings with these people. Ther eisn’t much thought put into things, just easily and gently give them thr truth, it works much better than yelling and attitude, trust me. The hard core left will be vitriolic and hate you anyway.
It wasn’t that I disliked these people waving signs that day (I did, but that’s not the point). It was that they were so danged obnoxious about it and were insulting anyone who drove a vehicle of which they disapproved. (They of the smoke-belching hippie buses and rust-bucket Volvos. I didn’t see a hybrid car parked anywhere near the group.)
