I got 43.1 mpg in my Honda Fit last week. Not hybrid.
Toyota Yaris HB...1.5L 5-speed...rated at 36mg hwy.
Folks at Yarisworld.com are reporting mpg ratings of 40-45.
$11,350 base price...cheapest, except for smartcar & uses 87 octane.
A straight gas motor, not hybrid.
Does not feel like a small car, handles well and has lots of room.
They seem to be flying off the lots.
Every dealership we’ve been to kept the cars way in the very back of the back lot. Not one had one up front.

Beats the 15mpg that my quadcab hemi is getting and should be excellent as a commuter car.

Id lost to a Beemer and I was disappointed; I had never driven so slowly or carefully for so long in my life. Im considering buying a V8 Range Rover and opening my own oil well in protest.

A choice between a tiny gay looking Prius or a manly BMW which doesn’t reuire a metrosexual behind the wheel........
I like to think of the free market like nature, if we leave it alone, it will find a way to correct itself. It is when we get involved that all things get screwed up.
I’ll take a BMW any day. Just wish the parts weren’t so expensive in the U. S.
