He said his wife was the descendant of slaves and slave owners and that he was the son of a white woman and a Kenyan father.
He addressed the black responsibility in the problems with the family, the absent father, he said it was legitimate for whites to fear black urban neighborhoods, he addressed white anger at affirmative action.
This was a brilliant speech.

What? It was the speech of a Charlatan. He condemed and justified Wright's hatespeech at the same time! There was nothing brilliant about it! Infact I have many more questions now about his relationship with Wright, and what he really believes.
..I call it a combative speech driven by his fear that's he's lost his momentum due to his 'so called' pastor.
I actually thought there were many good parts to this speech. Some of what he said is a far cry from anything we’d ever heard from Jackson and Sharpton.
