Agreed, BO didn't hit it out of the ballpark, but the speech is also not a pure "swing and a miss".

It’s just a speech. He is good at that. But the facts in it will be picked apart in the coming days. In the speech he flipflops and admits hearing some of Wright’s statements, thereby outing himself as a blatant liar.
