"P.S. better save those files. Lots of stuff about Hussein and his pastor are disappearing from the ‘net."

Yes, lots of clean-up being done in regards to any connection between B. Hussein Obama and the church or the pastor.

I chalk it up to the arrogance of B. Hussein Obama that they waited so long.

IMO he honestly didn't think anyone would bring it up as an issue, because it would be terribly racist to even mention that. /s

Excellent finding...we’ll have to start compiling some kind of an archive that includes information like yours and other freepers research.

THNX!

I’m thinking that it won’t change his stripes.....he’d have to spend way too much time converting to a non-racist church and a new MINDSET, plus run a campaign? I don’t think anyone would have the stamina to accomplish it, even if they are sincere. (which it would take me a long time to know if he really was sincere)

Go to his Senate website and send him a note about this. Ask about this racist Wright. Ask if he is going to drop out of the race.

I am not into conspiracy theories, but this story makes me wonder about who is really behind it and why it is getting so much attention in the press.

I recall hearing months ago that the Clinton campaign had something on Obama that would bring him down. Am I remembering this correctly? Could the Clintons be behind releasing this story?

I also recall that Sean Hannity started talking about Obama’s church and minister months ago. Not many paid much attention then. If the press had not caught on to it, they would have been excoriating conservative talk radio as racist. Could Clinton be urging the press to follow this story?

When Reagan died, for instance, the nation developed an immediate case of amnesia and every white corporate-owned media outlet began to sing Reagan's praises as if he were the greatest President in the history of these "yet-to-be United States" (to use Maya Angelou's term).

Hmmmmm. I think Rev. Wright is still living in the 60's and would like his congregation to join him there.

Does anyone know if Wrigth is also biracial? He appears to be very light skinned. Is there perhaps some secret fraternity we don’t know about?

Jeepers. Why doesn’t the Westboro Baptist Church find a reason to picket these guys? Then we’d have a real circus.

Barbara Reynolds helped me to put that reality in perspective while at a specially-called meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Pastors Conference in July. We met in St. Kitts to look at a media strategy for getting the message of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference before the American public (and before the world). The media only covers the conservative fanatics when it comes to religion. The media does not find the principles of the true Christian faith newsworthy.

The faith handed down by Samuel DeWitt Proctor, the faith taught to me by Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Sr. and Dr. Mary Wright, the faith lived by Dr. Thomas Howard Henderson and the faith that teaches Africans to use their minds as Jesus said (“Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy mind”), that faith is not exciting. That faith does not make headlines. That faith does not bomb abortion clinics. That faith does not say that a vote against George Bush is a vote against God.

That faith does not say that gays are going to hell. That faith does not say that we are right and everybody who is not on our side is wrong. The Christian faith that was given to me (from my past, that I keep looking back over) is a faith that faces each new challenge with the understanding that there would have been no civil rights movement if it had been left up to Christian fanatics. Christian fanatics used the Bible to keep us in slavery. Christian fanatics used the Bible to justify segregation and apartheid!

Christian fanatics were against Martin Luther King, Jr. Christian fanatics thought Dr. King had overstepped his boundaries when he moved from preaching against the evils of racism to preaching against the evils of war! It is that faith, however, that I embrace with all of my heart because it is of God, whom Jesus told me to love with all of my heart!

Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, while speaking at Yale Divinity School in March of 2004, said something very important in terms of understanding the difference between the Christian faith and Christian fanatics. She said: “We need to remember that we were not attacked on September 11th by the Muslim world or by the Arab world. We were attacked by individuals belonging to a single terrorist group. Their crimes were not about religion because al-Qaeda is no more representative of Islam than the Ku Klux Klan is representative of Christianity!”

Conservative fanatics line up on the side of al-Qaeda or they line up behind George Bush. Both are terrorists! Both believe that war is the answer. Both believe in murdering innocent people.

George Bush lied to the public. George Bush lied to the Congress and as a result of his lies over 1800 Americans are dead and over 100,000 Iraqis are dead. The 1800 Americans who died are military. The 100,000 plus Iraqis who are dead were civilians. They were innocent people.

Maybe the light skinded folks are self loathing.... because they feel they are not true to the “Black Experience”...You’d think 50 years after civil rights legislation was enacted that whitey still hasn’t done enough... Preach it brother...

To think that Obama took his kids to this hate station... Just continuing a generation of hate... Instead of we shall overcome the mantra appears to be We shall never forgive even if the injustice was done to our ancestry...

I wonder if the Irish should still be speaking out about their persecutions in this nation.... I mean its only been 100 years or so.

From the current issue:

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

"“When Minister Farrakhan speaks, Black America listens,” says the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, likening the Minister’s influence to the E. F. Hutton commercials of old. “Everybody may not agree with him, but they listen…His depth on analysis when it comes to the racial ills of this nation is astounding and eye opening. He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest.

“Minister Farrakhan will be remembered as one of the 20th and 21st century giants of the African American religious experience,” continues Wright. “His integrity and honesty have secured him a place in history as one of the nation’s most powerful critics. His love for Africa and African American people has made him an unforgettable force, a catalyst for change and a religious leader who is sincere about his faith and his purpose.”

Someone needs to get a bunch of back issues and see if there are any "interesting" quotes from Barry Hussein....

At this point I think Barry O would be better off announcing he’s returned to the fold of Islam....

Good point...I don’t think that BHO can pull off this speech today. It’s a no win situation for him..and whatever he says, expect to see a clip on YouTube of his comments interspersed with clips of Wright’s rants

This highly relevant snippet from Obama's book posted by AmericanMade1776 on another thread:

Page 291...Dreams of my Father..book by Obama... Obama mentions pastor talked about Hiroshima

"And so it went, a meditation on a fallen world. While the boys next to me doodled on their church bulletin, Rev. Wright spoke of Sharpsville and Hiroshima, the callousness of policy makers in the White House and in the State House. As the sermon unfolded, though, the stories of strife became more prosaic, the pain more immediate."

Bottom line: Obama heard these hate-whitey speeches and approved.
