The thunderous applause was still ringing in his ears when the state's new governor, David Paterson, told the Daily News that he and his wife had extramarital affairs.
In a stunning revelation, both Paterson, 53, and his wife, Michelle, 46, acknowledged in a joint interview they each had intimate relationships with others during a rocky period in their marriage several years ago.
In the course of several interviews in the past few days, Paterson said he maintained a relationship for two or three years with "a woman other than my wife," beginning in 1999.

Its all a pre-emptive diversion to hide the fact that he smokes.
No. I think that's outlawed in NY. I guess what he's admitted to is par for the course (if you're a governor).

Actually, in light of Lawrence v Texas, it’s hard to see how any adultery or alienation of affection offence could be legally prosecuted in the face of a determined defence.
Legally, American society has become willfully blind on most matters of family law.

Good! They run their marriage the way THEY want to, and don’t have any use for lies or apologies to the public.

And Lucy/Desi and Dick/Laura slept in separate twin beds. Of course they slept in separate beds. Lucy & Desi & Dick & Laura all in the same bed would just not be right.

You know, I have thought all day about that term, ridin dirty. It would be a great hook to a song. I am working on it even as we speak. Let me know when you get that song together. You're right - that phrase alone is the start to a great song.

I do too. I think of those happier times, more patriotic times, the best music and movies and tv. Not much today compares.

They say love is blind. . . .Aint it the truth. And even a blind politician finds a willing constituent every once in a while. Or something like that.

??? He didn't admit to he and his wife's adultery until AFTER being sworn in.....after the previous governor resigned in disgrace for hiring hookers. Ummmmm, me thinks he just became governor under false pretenses. He was never elected by a populus knowing who they were electing. I call those set of occurrences.....lies.

Did you see Obama is giving a speech on race? Why isn’t he giving a speech about religion as his difficulties relate to his church, not to his race. Democrats always change the subject, don’t they? Anyhow, he’s half black and half white. I’m sick of the adultery on both sides of the aisle and the race talk pushed by the MSM. Obama’s speech is too little too late imo. The damage is already done. If that church hates white people, they hate me and that’s bigotry.
