As always.

As expected.

Bolton as secretary of state would be an incredible hope for the World.

He gave a book tour talk in my neighborhood last week. Very policy-wonkish yet highly interesting. He never said anything against the Bush administration in the talk and did describe why he’s supporting Senator McCain. If his book tour takes him to your town, I recommend your attendance. Time well spent and now I have his autographed book as a gift to send to a family member in Iraq.

John Bolton was the same dope who criticized the Bush administration for recognizing Kosovo -- and this after he was one of a very small group of so-called conservatives WHO HAD OPENLY SUPPORTED THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION'S MILITARY CAMPAIGN AGAINST SERBIA.

This fella doesn't have a single shred of credibility left after that one.

If McCain announces that Bolton will be his Secretary of State, he will gain some credibility with conservatives. He’ll never do it, of course, because he prefers credibility with liberals.

Great post.

It's so terribly rare that a pundit of any stripe has the balls to publish a list of specific recommendations.
