Clinton Library Builder's CFO Disappears Amid Audit
Sunday , March 16, 2008
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. John Glasgow had a healthy salary, with an opportunity to pick up stock in the construction company where he worked. He was the kind of guy who paid back a $500 bonus he got for completing an anti-smoking program because he started to light up again.
But now Glasgow has been missing since Jan. 28, with his car found abandoned the next day, and family and police say it's impossible to tell whether he killed himself, was abducted or left to start a new life elsewhere.
His family said the easygoing 45-year-old felt overwhelmed and anxious about a company audit, but the company says no money is missing.
Police say there is no evidence of foul play, and no clues to his whereabouts.
"He may be under some kind of compulsion ... some kind of blackmail, that's a scenario you could dream up," said his brother, Roger Glasgow. "We're not suggesting any of these scenarios because we just don't know. But it does open up a Pandora's box of possibilities."

Snopes will de-bunk this in 5... 4... 3... 2...
When was it that Slick freaked out during Hilda’s campaign? Then he disappeared? Wasn’t that about this time? Not that either actually use their own criminal hands to snuff out the lives of the unfortunate, but wouldn’t Bill be making sure things went according to plan?
Where is everyone?
According to the following link, John’s neighbor who lives across the street apparently “saw” John driving away from his home around 5:10 am on Sun., Jan 27th. Unbelievably, this neighbor, named Brian Rosenthal, is an attorney with the ROSE LAW FIRM!

Oh, he’s just taking a walk in the park.
Just put "Clinton Body Count" into a search engine and a number of articles with lists of names and summaries should come up.
Is Fox News trying to give us a clue that his "disappearance" is connected to the Clinton Library, while AP is trying to softpedal that possibility? Just a thought.
With Clark's death last year, Dillard's has the option to buy his shares, but it has discussed letting CDI employees buy Clark's shares instead. Glasgow was in charge of the redistribution and himself stood to buy a part of the company.
Glasgow's family and colleagues say that multimillion-dollar deal weighed heavily on him.
Good Lord, even within a story about a *potential* Arkancide, somebody drops dead.
Bill Clark dies at 63
William E. Clark, CEO of CDI Contractors, died Tuesday at 63 after a bout with cancer. The former University of Arkansas trustee has been one of the giants of Little Rock business.
Ruebel Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.
His son sent a message to friends that said there will be a private graveside service Thursday and a public memorial service at noon Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church. CDI's offices will be closed Monday.
Memorials may be made to the Parks Conservancy, PO Box 7329, Little Rock, AR 72217. This is an effort to restore 13 acres of wetlands on the Arkansas River near the Clinton Library. It will be called the Bill Clark Presidential Park Wetlands as a tribute to his love of the outdoors.
Clark's son William also spoke of the future of CDI, a partnership with Dillard's Inc. He said he had spoken with Bill Dillard Monday and that business would continue as it has for the last 20 years.
