Anita Creamer: It's absurd to assume all women back Hillary Clinton

Maybe the problem isn't that some people won't vote for a female presidential candidate. Maybe the problem is that the candidate is this particular woman, Hillary Clinton.
That's what I think when I hear people complain about the role of sexism in the primaries.
First whispered, then shouted, the allegations of sexism have caught hold online, at dinner parties and at family gatherings. Women have even been known to accuse other women of gender disloyalty for remaining cool toward Clinton.
Granted, ever since she came to national attention in 1992, the country's conflicted feelings about women have been projected onto her. That's never been fair.
But surely, someone who presented herself to the electorate as vetted and tested, ready to defend herself against any potential attack, could withstand the sorry likes of Chris Matthews making idiotic comments about her.
Surely, someone who benefited from a year's worth of compliant media coverage in 2007 buying into her inevitability as Democratic nominee could roll with the occasional punch from critics who consider her sense of entitlement really unappealing.
Is it anti-female to say she's run an inconsistent campaign in which she's shined brightest by going negative? Is it sexist to mention that feeling sorry for yourself and blaming the media because you're called on first in a debate is really lame?
A truly sexist media likely wouldn't let Clinton get away with all but proclaiming herself the Comeback Kid this week, when the reality is that she won despite blowing considerably higher opinion-poll leads in Ohio and Texas, and remains behind in the delegate count.
Finally, is it misogynistic not to want another round of the Clintons in the White House, showcasing their personal psychodrama, political baggage and intense estrangement from the half of the nation that already loathes them?

It's absurd to assume all women back Hillary ClintonIt's equally absurd to assume they won't.
The Vagina Vote is probably Her most solid voting bloc.

Falls into the "Gee, ya THINK?" category. Hillary has a very big problem, to know her is not to love her. She had everything going for her on paper. But as a person she stunk.

I agree, and the knee jerk ‘women voting for the woman’ mentality is no better on any level than race-based bias. Both sentiments are rooted in an ‘us against them’ mentality, and hurt the country.

“It’s absurd to assume all women back Hillary Clinton.”
Well, it IS absurd to assume black women will back her.

Clinton has proven to be
- a liar
- a woman who put up with 35 years of bimbo eruptions
- a harpy
- a person who never takes responsibility for her bad behavior --> blames others or makes lame excuses or insincerely apologizes and repeats the same bad behavior
- a bottom-feeding marxist liberal

As for me (and my vagina) WE shall both remain CONSERVATIVES and vote accordingly ;-)

Of course. Some women are black, and so they will vote for O'bama, because being black outweighs everything else.

You know, people just really shouldn’t name their daughters Anita. I mean, even if your last name is something like Kowaalski, she could grow up and marry one of Richard Bong’s grandsons or something. Anita Creamer sounds like something you say at the coffee shop.
