PLAINFIELD, IND -- Sen. Barack Obama on Saturday decried "the forces of division" over race that he said are intruding into the Democratic presidential nomination contest.
... The Illinois senator's comments came a day after he denounced statements appearing on television and on the internet by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, pastor of the Chicago church Obama joined nearly 20 years ago.

I think it was the cheering crowd that offended me more than the sermon.
Seems to me like Obambi and his bride are the ones who are pushing race in this election.
“It’s for the children.”
McCain has 20 years of voting that will divide everyone. It is why so few senators get to run for President and won.
You are correct. I forgot, it’s only Republican hypocrites that must be held accountable.
Unless there’s some real dirt that comes to light on McLame, I think Shrillary’s negatives are so great that McLame will win that matchup.
Not true. It was, believe it or not, Brian Ross of the MSM who got this story into the mainstream. Obviously a Hillary supporter.
There seems to be two schools of thought re: Obama being knocked out of the race.
1. Black Americans will be so ticked off at the Clinton mafia that they will stay home, in droves, on election day. Clinton can’t win without them.
2. Clinton will promise the Blacks the moon if she is nominated. Everyone will kiss and make up by election day.
Of course, this whole issue may not be enough to affect Obama’s lead in the delegate count and he may get the nomination anyway. To me, this is the best option as there is so much that can be used against him now, I don’t think he could win.
Maybe BO slept through the sermon, won’t be the first nor last time. Little guilty of that myself.
If this guy loses to Hillary there may be riots!
I am willing to bet the farm that they would not bet for Alan Keyes against any white dem
Stay home after they burn down a few cities.
Well, I predicted yesterday-—as did many-—that once this can of worms was opened, and once Barack issued a half-denial, it would bite him in the a$$. This will continue to unravel, and damage him badly. People wanted to believe he was “different” from Jesse Jackson, but in fact he’s only slicker and more articulate, sort of a black Bill Clinton.
>>the days of ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS and CNN domination are over. We have fox news....<<
I’m not so sure that Fox wants Hillary to lose against McCain. We’ll see.
That would be fine if it were one sermon. I doubt if the "reverend" checks the house and gives a normal Sunday School sermon when Barack is there, and saves the anti-Whitey, anti-Jew, anti-America crap for when Barack is absent.
RP: That is one of the most brilliant, subtle, witty posts I’ve seen on FR. What a perfect image to describe Obama’s rhetorical jiu jitsu. Bravo!!!
Let ‘em riot. They only end up burning their own houses
down anyway.
If the beast wins the endorsement, blacks will not vote for
her because of the “injustice” suffered by Hussein O.
Real men won’t vote for her for obvious reasons. Women teachers over 50 aren’t enough votes to elect her.
She’s essentially unelectable. McCain wins easily.
The only big primary that's left is Pennsylvania. It's got Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, but everything in between is like Alabama without the black people. As conservative as it gets, and very Second Amendment conscious. Obama is in serious trouble in Pennsylvania and this will make it worse.
In Denver, when the superdelegates see whaat happens in Pennsylvania and they see Obama dropping like a rock in the poll match-ups with McCain, they'll vote for Hillary.
