PLAINFIELD, IND -- Sen. Barack Obama on Saturday decried "the forces of division" over race that he said are intruding into the Democratic presidential nomination contest.
... The Illinois senator's comments came a day after he denounced statements appearing on television and on the internet by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, pastor of the Chicago church Obama joined nearly 20 years ago.

Why would they wait until tomorrow to post the story? Whats the purpose of leaking the story and then publishing it. Is it a publicity technique? If they put it out over the weekend, especially palm sunday, they run the risk of it not getting exposure or having the media claim its old news by monday.
This way, it hits the airwaves when more people are paying attention, not to mention those political junkies ( like us ) will be telling people to look for it!

What will happen, say you?
Let's see, on the 17th?
O'Bama will denounce the good pastor's comments and preach a bloody good message O' hope.
Good day.

Just a prediction....this thing with the Rev. Wright will blow up in Obama’s face, it will come out that OB was indeed present for many of the racist sermons. Hillary will ask Obama to step aside for the good of the party and country.

“If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me, Mr. Wright said with a shrug. I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen.
Somehow that quote seems relevant today, with the news that Barack Obama has distanced himself from Jeremiah Wright”
going to be hard to say he was ignorant with this quote out there.

“Now we must conclude - Obama is a racist, Marxist, America hater, anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist and a Liar... who smiles sweetly and reads his script well.”
Exactly, does anyone now doubt that the Cuban Commie flag up in that Houston office was a mistake? Those “volunteers” knew who Che Obama was, and what he was all about, mainly a Socialist International struggle type.

What nonsense! He's played the race card every time he's addressed a Black audience. If he doesn't leave his Church, he has no right to ask loyal Americans for their votes. Because it wasn't just Wright: Wright's bizarre, ignorant ravings—Hillary is a “rich white woman”, America created AIDS, America jailed Nelson Mandela, America got what it deserved on 911—were greeted with cheers and applause by the parishioners, who acted more like a racist America-hating mob than a community of Christians. If Obama continues to associate with this hate-filled racist gang masquerading as a Congregation, he deserves the vote of no loyal American.

So Obama you attended services by this man for 20 years and never heard this type of rhetoric?
You people can be so insensitive.
Why not just forgive the man and move on?
It's like when Eliot Spitzer used prostitutes for 10 years and spent a fortune on them. Well, wasn't that Eliot being human and committing "mistakes"? To err is human, you know. And forget that he was a hypocrite in the grandest of scales. He is after all human.
Same with Barack. Sure he attended the Jeremiah sermons for 20 years. But, he must be forgiven for not recalling the contents of the sermons. You know, he's only human? And even if it's not true that he didn't recall the sermons, hey, he was just human and he made a 20 years mistake. You know, to err is human.
And besides, Eliot and Obama are both democrats and in the media world that we live in, all of their mistakes must be either forgiven or dismissed or disregarded or even overlooked. The American people need their "services" and nothing should stand in the way of those two "otherwise" good men. It's for the good of the people.

"This is too early, need to get clinton out first. This will only get clinton to run against and she will destroy mccain."Pelosi will try to stop Clinton. I think she'd really prefer McCain win anyway. She'd get most of what she wants and she'd be the top Dem dog.

At this point, I don’t think she will destroy McCain.
If Obama loses to her, blacks WILL stay home or vote for McCain (most likely stay home).

I can tell you that blacks who support him (basically 99% of the black population), do NOT give a damned what he has done or what is dug up on him.
THEY WANT TO SEE A BLACK PRESIDENT IN THEIR LIFETIME!
That is all that matters.
They will examine the dirt and talk about him after he is inaugurated.
