Presidential candidate Barack Obama preaches on the campaign trail that America needs a new consensus based on faith and bipartisanship, yet he continues to attend a controversial Chicago church whose pastor routinely refers to "white arrogance" and "the United States of White America."
In fact, Obama was in attendance at the church when these statements were made on July 22. .....

Of course.
Just like Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama was TOTALLY UNAWARE of his wife's militant anti-American beliefs,,,,
and her blatantly angry and bitter attitude toward this country!!
P.S. I thought that according to Senator B.(whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama---"WORDS DO MATTER"! I guess that applies only 'selectively'...lol
Bouncers outside of the church!
How Christian is that?
No problem. I'm sure that he wasn't aware of THAT either. /s
I honestly don’t think it matters if he remembers he was there or not. The Clintons never remembered or knew anything until they saw it in the newspaper and that always got them off the hook.
Not the same sermon. However, ever since Obama became a major figure in Illinois politics (when he was elected senator in 2004), I’ve been watching the televised weekly sermons from Trinity United Church of Christ and they like showing off the celebrities in the audience.
It is customary for members of that congregation to nod their heads and shout “Amen!” This is especially true when the orator says something that is racially inflammatory to white people.
Oprah Winfrey, for example, attended regularly until about 2005. But at least Oprah had enough sense to distance herself from Dr. Wright. Some African-American players for the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago bears have also attended on occasion.
Obama, like most of the other members of the congregation, will respond to racially inmflammatory rhetoric by nodding his head and shouting “Amen!” But Dr. Wright’s replacement is Rev. Otis Moss III, who is much more subtle.
Moss practices what I call “dog whistle politics.” He uses code words and phrases that do not create convenient sound bites for outsiders to understand, but his followers can understand them all too well, and they respond. Also, the delivery (inflection, tone of voice, hand gestures, pauses etc.) does not translate well to the printed page.
But make no mistake about it: Trinity United Church of Christ is fostering racial contempt, resentment and divisiveness in the United States.
He wasn't on any substance, but for months he's been looking out on adoring crowds of dopes who act as if they were, so he thinks everyone is dumb.
Exactly!!!
The 'Ice Tea Defense' (when Al Gore stated, "I was out getting ice tea") seems to suffice just fine with the liberals/democrats and the MSM!!
I am the author of the article. I was there, after I got past the huge security guard who blocked the doorway, and I saw Senator Obama sitting in a pew for the entire sermon. He's difficult to miss. Not only is his appearance rather distinctive, he is surrounded by Secret Service agents these days.
I don’t care if Obama was there for that or any of Wright’s sermon. It is irrelevant. He knows now what Wright said, and so he should repudiate all Wright’s racist and anti-American comments, and publically refuse to attend his “church” ever again. What difference does it make if he was actually present or not?
Self deprecating haters who don’t think they are black enough...
Someone needs to interview Obama’s Maternal Grandmother... Why is she being kept in seclusion... Is Obama really ashamed of his white side? Lets bring grandma Obama out and get her take on Ol Jeramiah Wright....
No Barrack the good people of Nelsonville Ohio would not feel very comfortable at your Church...

Is this what we can expect from an Obama Administration... If Obama spent 20 years around this racist hate montage and wants to explain it away that he never heard any of it...then either Obama is nieve or he thinks Americans are fools to think we would put him in the WH.
Somebody needs to come up with the antecdote to that Obama-ade the young folks are drinking.
Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama made a simple mistake. He THOUGHT that Wright said, "GOD LOVES AMERICA".
Easy mistake--could have happened to anyone. Just a bit of miscommunication....nothing more. /s
Obama is clearly in "play it safe" mode. That is, they have the lead and are "playing not to lose", like a football team that goes to a "pre-vent defense". They won't need the press again until the Obama star falls far enough.
It had to be taked in early July since the date on the jpeg is 7/16.
Look at the sermons prior to that.
Good find. There’s another one where Wright says that the NY Times serves as a blog for the Republican Party. LOL.
That’s it! He was there when the hate was being spewed. Did he get up and walk out?
Wright is a typical left sham camouflaging his agenda in a "Black" & "Christian" rhetoric but giving a bottom line message that is the same as a Bill Maher, Michael Moore, Norm Chomsky, Lenin, Marx...(White Atheist) while slamming other blacks that do not tow a hard radical left politics line
Obama, if you look at his other associates, look to be the same, a sham persona that hides the real agenda of hard USA hating radical left politics
I think you're wrong. Both Hillary and Obama have a lot of friends in the mainstream media. Hillary's friends want to torpedo Obama. Obama's friends want to torpedo Hillary. All we have to do is unfold the lawnchairs, pop some popcorn and watch the fireworks.
By Labor Day, whoever finally wins the nomination is going to battered, bloody, exhausted and broke. The other half of the Democratic Party is going to be bitter and resentful. And McCain will be just warming up
Oh hell, that's not the worstest word that's ever been posted at FR.
But since you insist...nah, nah, nah...
